Candidates under this category will be given reservation as per the following priority in decreasing order :-
For admission to a seat reserved for Defence Category following are required:
85% of total sanctioned seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi Region. Candidates who have passed class 12 from any school/ institute in Delhi or from any college/institute affiliated from GGSIPU University fall under this category. Seats will be allotted on the basis of candidate’s performance in IPU CET 2023.These seats are further divided in following matrix

15% of total seats reserved for outside Delhi Candidates. Candidates who have done class 12th from school/instute outside Delhi fall under this category. These 15% seats are further segregated in following matrix :-

The Reservation criteria for the University Schools, Government Institutes and Self Financing Colleges/ Institutions affiliated with IP University, other than minority institution, for the academic session 2020-21 for IPU CETs is as under:-

(A) 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Candidates
It is the responsibility of the candidates to provide the proof of their education centers in Delhi will be of the candidates their selves
(B) 15% seats are reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates
It is the responsibility of the candidates to provide the proof of their education centers outside Delhi.
These seats will be filled up through the IPU CET merit list. The seats will be allocated as per the policy of the university at the time of notification for IPU CET 2020 counselling in the specific CET code.

Sanctioned Intake includes 10% Management Quota (unless surrendered by the respective College/ Institute) seats (as per the CET Code). However, in the case of University Schools of Study and Govt. Institutes there will be no Management Quota.
All candidates seeking admissions against such seats will have to appear in the IPU CET Entrance Exam of the relevant academic program or can apply on the basis of GATE score as mentioned in the IPU CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
(A) 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Candidates
It is the responsibility of the candidates to provide the proof of their education centers in Delhi.

Moreover, the onus of proving that the candidate has completed the qualifying degree from an AICTE recognized institution lies on the candidate to the satisfaction of the admission officer.
These seats will be filled up through the merit /rank list. The seats will be allocated as per the policy of the university at the time of notification for IPU CET 2023 offline counselling in the specific CET code.

Example: Candidate claiming for the seat reserved for Delhi SC/ST/OBC category then he/ she has to bring SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi and also passed his/her qualifying examination from Delhi
There are 100 seats for MBBS Programme at ACMS and these seats to be filled by wards/children of eligible Army Personnel and reservation of seats of students of SC/ST category would be applicable as per the Govt. of NCT of Delhi Policy.
The admission to the ACMS is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, Ex- Army personnel and war widows/widows of the Army. The children of following categories of Army personnel are eligible and they must submit the relevant certificate as given against the category applicable to them as proof of their eligibility for admission to ACMS at time of Counselling/Admission:

Note: Children of Air Force, Navy and Paramilitary forces like CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Riffles, GREF and DSC are not eligible for the admission in ACMS.
Candidates must produce the following documents in original along with a photocopy:
(I) Out of total seats that will be available for admissions, 50% seats are reserved for All India Quota, to be filled up on the basis of All India Entrance Test conducted by an institution on behalf of DGHS, Government of India.
(II) Other 50% seats will be reserved for MBBS graduates of IP University. Reservation will be applicable in these seats as per policy of University as applicable from time to time for SC/ ST and OBC candidates.
(III) Any changes in regarding reservation policy for the year 2020-20, if taken by the Government then the IPU CET 2020 counselling will be conducted according to that policy.
A list of approved authorities to issue the SC, ST and OBC Certificates are as under-
(i) District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Collector, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Collector, 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate (not below the rank of 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate), City Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Taluka Magistrate, Executive Magistrate and Extra Assistant Commissioner.
(ii) Chief Presidency Magistrate, Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate or Presidency Magistrate.
(iii) Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.
(iv) Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and/or his/her family normally resides.
(v) Administrator, Secretary to the Administrator or the Development Officer (Lakshadweep& Minicoy Islands).
3% seats will be reserved horizontally for the candidates belonging to PWD category. The seats for PWD candidate will be reserved at roster point no. 33, 67 and 100 under the 200 points roster.
The Physically Handicapped/PWD Candidates having disability of lower limbs from 50% to 70% are eligible and may apply as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India. Such candidates will have to submit a certificate alongwith the photograph of the applicant duly attested by the issuing authority, from any one of the authorities listed below, indicating the nature and extent of physical disability.

In case, the PWD candidates belong to Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe, OBC category, they should also enclose appropriate certificate. If there are no sufficient number of eligible candidates available for PWD category, the seats remaining vacant will be treated as unreserved.
In case the PWD candidates belong to the same category which is shown at roster point 33, 67, and 100 under 200 points roster then there will be no change in the roster.
In case the PWD category candidate belongs to some other category as shown at roster point 33, 67, 100 under the 200 points roster then admission to PWD category will be made at the respective roster point and roster will continue after inserting the PWD category.
Ques: What is the eligibility to take admission in IP University for BArch?
Ans. NATA qualified candidates are eligible to apply for IPU BArch program. Final admission is based on 50% weightage each in NATA and marks in the qualifying examination.
Ques. Can a student apply for IPU admission offline?
Ans. No, the mode of the application is online. Candidates need to visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and fill the IPU application form.
Ques. What is the fee for the IPU B.Tech program?
Ans. The annual fee for the BTech program is INR 60,000.
