IPU CET 2025 ELIGIBILITY

IPU CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria to attend the exam varies from course to course. The lower age limit criteria for UG & PG programs is 17 and 21 years respectively. Candidates who do not meet the required eligibility criteria will not be allowed to write the exam.
A candidate must pass class 12th in 10+2 CBSE Pattern or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, getting passed in each subject separately.
Along with PCM, candidates should also pass the English exam (core/elective/ functional)
The university will not be conducting a separate CET for this course instead will be using JEE Main Paper I marks for granting admission to candidates. Therefore, candidates aspiring to do Engineering from GGSIPU must appear for JEE Main Paper- 1.
Candidates with an aggregate of 60% in their qualifying examination are considered eligible for the examination. The three-year diploma course can be done in any of the following branches:

To get admission into postgraduate technical courses offered by the university, candidates must primarily have a valid GATE score card OR CET qualified with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in the desired profile.

In addition to the above, for MBA (Financial Analysis) the candidate must have passed in Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
Admissions shall be made on the basis of CAT 2023 score followed by CMAT 2023 on the basis of normalization of their scores.
The University will be conducting its separate CET too but its scores will be used only if the seats are left vacant after utilizing CAT 2020 and CMAT 2023 scores.

Candidates must have scored a minimum qualification required to apply for the program in IPU CET 2023, which is given below:
LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University, with not less than 55% marks.

A candidate who is willing to apply should be an Indian/Overseas Indian/Nepal citizen. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible. The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his admission to the first year of the Course.

Eligibility conditions shall be decided by the Council of Architecture at the time of admissions. However, a candidate is required to pass NATA 2023 conducted by COA to be eligible for admission in the architecture course of the university.

Candidates must clear NATA with at least 40% marks. They are advised to retain 3 copies of NATA Score out of which one will be submitted during document verification in the university, another copy is submitted at the respective institute and the last copy is kept with the candidate.

To ensure your eligibility, you are advised to read the eligibility criteria of the particular course carefully along with the reservation policy of the university.
Ques. I belong to the unreserved category. What is the minimum qualification criteria to apply for IPU CET 2023?
Ans. For candidates belonging to the unreserved category applying to undergraduate programs, a minimum of 50% marks is needed in the qualifying examination. However, the criteria vary with courses and level of degree: UG or PG.

Ans. The reservation criteria for seats falling under the jurisdiction of States is as per State Reservation Policy/ GGSIPU Norms.
Ques. Does GGSIPU conduct CET for law courses?
Ans. GGSIPU no longer conducts a common entrance test for admission into law courses. To get admission into law programs, a candidate needs to qualify CLAT 2023. The University will be using CLAT scores for the preparation of the merit list.
Ques. The result of the final year examination is awaited. Am I eligible to apply for IPU CET 2023?
Ans. Those pursuing their relevant qualifying degree or equivalent program and who have appeared/ awaited of Final Year examination can apply online application for CET 2023. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of concern program for obtaining eligibility %age of marks as per eligibility criteria.
