Candidates are required to follow the below steps to apply offline for admissions.
- Visit the official website of GKCIET
- Download the Information Brochure as well as the Application form for the academic year
- Fill out the personal details along with educational qualifications in the space provided
- Application fee needs to be paid via Demand Draft only in favor of “Accounts Officer, GKCIET, Malda” payable at Malda
- Self-attested copies of supporting documents are to be enclosed with the duly filled form
- The duly filled application form must be sent to The Chairman, Admission Committee, GKCIET, Malda
- Scanned copy of application form as well as a word file of the form must also be sent via e-mail to admission@gkciet.ac.in

Aspirants seeking admission to 2-year Full-time Certificate Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
The minimum qualification for admission to the Certificate programme is Matric pass (English, Mathematics and Science is Compulsory) from State Secondary Education Board/CBSE/ICSE/National Open School or an equivalent examination conducted by an Institution or school recognized by and affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.
The institute offers admission to the 2 years certificate courses under 7 specializations. Admission to the courses will be based on the marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admissions to full-time certification programmes, must have passed Matric or 10th examination with English, Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects from any recognized Board.
Those with qualifications from Open School are also eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria
- Admissions are purely made on the basis of merit in the All India GKCIET Entrance exam or GET-I for the academic year.
- The entrance exam is mandatory for admissions to candidates belonging to states other than West Bengal.
