GITAM Scholarships are offered to students based on their merit in various based on merit. The institute also offers merit scholarships, need-based scholarships as well and loyalty scholarships for students to encourage them to pursue higher education. The need-based scholarships are offered to students based on their annual family income. Students must upload a family income-tax certificate on the portal to avail of the need-based scholarship. The institute also offers additional upgrades with need-based scholarships to merit-scholarship students with low family incomes. \r\n\r\n

    Ques. What are the documents required to submit during the GITAM scholarship process?\r\n\r\n

    Ans. Candidates must submit the best score of the National\/State level entrance test appearing in 2023 or GAT 2023. The result copy can be uploaded in the admission portal during the counseling period.\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Ques. Is it necessary to upload an income-tax certificate on the portal for a need-based scholarship?\r\n\r\n

    Ans. Yes, it is mandatory to upload an income-tax certificate on the portal for need-based scholarships. \r\n\r\n\r\n

    Ans. Yes, students with merit scholarships and low annual family income can apply for additional need-based scholarships. In such cases, the scholarship will be upgraded from 75% \u2013 100%, 50% \u2013 75%, 25% \u2013 50% and 10% \u2013 25% scholarship by the GITAM Institute. \r\n\r\n\r\n
