I chose B.E IN CSE bcoz I was more interested in maths, so I took CSE. There are many faculties in our college and almost all of them did M.TECH and few of them also Did Ph.D. from good colleges. But when it comes to teaching it's not so great. they teach up to a certain extent you can't completely depend on them for exams. The exams(internals) are conducted almost every month which sucks and sem exams will be conducted once in 5 months.

Because this branch has a good opportunity in the market like EV Life at a campus is good. social life is better. The annual fest is conducted by the college per year month is not fixed. All Books are available in the library and Library is fine. Sports week is conducted per year. In this, every sport is included. There is not any social group or club for students & not any website. The amenities in the classroom are a little bit old. Exams was passed easily. Almost phd holder faculties are there in my branch. The teaching was so good.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering - [DSCE]: 44 answered questions

Ques
How are the placements at Dayanada sagar college of engineering (DSCE), Bangalore for CSE/ISE?

● Top Answer By Anubhav Sharma on 21 Apr 21

Ans
For software jobs, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is very good in terms of Placement. Here are some of the observations about the college placements. Software companies like, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Wipro are major recruiters of this college. One needs to maintain 60 % in his/her overall academics. Infosys usually comes in the first slot of the placement drive of the college. If you want to get into the core technical job then you might not get that in college but this is true in the case of other colleges as well. If your branch of engineering is electrical, mechanical, and biomedical then you should definitely participate in the campus pool drive of the college. The placement recent statistics of Dayanand college are as follows.  Highest CTC 27 LPA Average CTC 3.5 LPA No of students placed 2194 This college also provides soft skill training programs and a digital lab facility as well. This will help you in developing your communication and technical skills.

Ques
How is Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering for Computer Science and Engineering? What is the average package?

● Top Answer By Aravinth Tiwari on 10 Sept 21

Ans
One of my friends recently graduated from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE). Here is what she had to say about the CSE placement at the institute.  The institute is autonomous, and the quality of education, assignments, and projects has been improved over the years. The placements for the CSE branch are promising. All the companies allow CSE students to sit for campus placement. Recently, JP Morgan came to the campus in the sixth semester and offered packages of around INR 6 LPA. Therefore, placement would not be a problem. All the students across all branches get placed in at least one company. Most students get placed in Accenture, Infosys, HPE, Continental Automotive, Moog, EY, UHG, Dell, JP Morgan, Oracle, Tally, Cognizant, and more. All of these have recruited CSE students in the past. I will advise you to talk to seniors, before joining the institute, to have a clear picture.

Ques
How is the crowd at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?

● Top Answer By Diksha Roy on 05 May 21

Ans
A friend of mine used to study there. Here are a few snippets of his experience.  In the beginning, he had mixed feelings about the institute. He was skeptical about whether he had even reached the right college/crowd/culture or not.  My friend belongs to a small town and when he witnessed his college mates roaming around at 11 PM with their own vehicles, he wasn't sure whether he'd manage to get along with a single person there.  On the very first day of college, he managed to be friends with people from different states and other parts of Karnataka who were just as introverted and shy as he was. So, the kind of crowd would be fine, considering this.  A lot of people there take full advantage of the management quota, so expect rich kids flaunting their expensive bikes and other things as well.  Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering has an excellent atmosphere. A good number of events are carried out here where you would witness actors/actresses promoting their upcoming movies.  Make sure you are updated on the kind of social/cultural/technical events that take place so that you know which inter-college event to take part in.  The quality of education offered at the institute is average at best. You will have to do a lot of self-study in order to clear your concepts and secure a good job opportunity.  Hope this gives you an idea of what kind of crowd to expect at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering.

Ques
Can I get into Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering with a rank of 6991 in IT branch (kcet)?

● Top Answer By Shikha Sharma on 15 Sept 21

Ans
According to one of my friend’s experiences there are chances of getting into Dayanand Sagar College in the second round. Though the chances are very low, therefore it depends upon your luck.  You should refer to the previous cut-offs but at the same time, you should be open to the options and accept them whole-heartedly as it depends purely on you how much you are inclined to working hard. If you really work hard then it does not matter that in which college you are in, nobody can stop you from reaching your destiny. According to the previous year’s cut-offs, 5855 was the closing rank in Round 1. Keep trying your dream college but you should be always open to various other options so that you will not waste your entire year.

Ques
What is the procedure for a change of branch in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?

● Top Answer By Ritisha Ayesh on 14 Sept 21

Ans
It depends upon a variety of factors. If you secure a good score and later decide to apply for a branch change at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, then you have a decent chance of getting approved. In any case, you will require approval from the principal of your branch. The major pitfall is that the chances of the approval are 5% on the higher side or nothing at all. Either way, one of the other options is to connect with the administration officials and after a brief discussion about possible choices, coming to an eventual ultimatum where the administration can possibly ask you to deposit a sum of money in lieu of the above requirement. It is best to consult them before you step into the 2nd semester.

Ques
What should we do if we miss one internal in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?

● Top Answer By Eshita Sen on 31 Aug 21

Ans
According to some of my friends studying at Dayanand Sagar, there are 2 options available if a student misses one interval in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering. The internal marks for an interval are considered as the best out of the 3. So there are chances to rectify the past mistake. Students who have missed an interval can attend the remaining 2 and score the required mark which is totally acceptable by the institute. Contact the Head of Department and explain your situation. It’s up to him/her to make the decisions based on your reason. There’s no need to worry if you have a valid reason with supporting proofs and documents. In that case, they are very considerate. The Head of Department can allow you to take the test later if they believe the reasons are genuine after viewing your case.

Ques
Will I get admitted to Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, CSE branch with a 10,200 rank in COMEDK?

● Top Answer By Snigdha Goswami on 22 Sept 21

Ans
With a rank above 10000, it is difficult to get the CSE or ISE branch at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. According to the recent cutoff trends for DSCE, the required cutoff for CSE was 3905.  However, with your rank, you can make it to other branches like ECE, EEE, TE, etc. The college provides the option of internal transfer from one branch to another, so you can change your branch after following the procedure of the college to the branch of your choice if you want to.

Ques
Which is better- IEM in Ms. Ramaiah or EEE in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?

● Top Answer By Sushmita Raj on 17 Sept 21

Ans
After doing some research online, I would suggest not to go for IEM at Ramaiah, until and unless you are extremely interested in studying that particular subject. Since it will not pay you anything and you will eventually wind up in the same category of mass placement at one of the service-based companies.  Double-check the topics you will be studying. EEE is usually less exposed than IEM, yet EEE is regarded as the most complex branch to be studied.  The majority of EEE / ECE / other branches receive job offers from Infosys, HCL, Accenture, or Tech Mahindra. Parameters IEM at Ms. Ramaiah EEE at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering Tuition Fees INR 3.47 lakh  INR 10 lakh Placement Percentage 95% 70% Highest Package 13 LPA 15 LPA Average Package 7.6 LPA INR 8 LPA So, what is the point of learning core Electronics if all you have to do at the conclusion of your engineering degree is code? If you want to build a career, think seriously about the branch you select. Regardless of the institution you attend, I believe EEE is far superior to IEM. Pursue EEE only if you are truly passionate about the subject.

Ques
What is the difference between dayanand sagar college of engineering shift 1 and shift 2?

● Top Answer By Ashana Sharma on 15 Sept 21

Ans
There is no difference between Shift 1 and Shift 2 at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering. Only the timings and the strength of the students are different For shift 2, timings are from 11 AM to 6 PM and for shift 1, it's from 9 AM to 5 PM. This timing difference is only for the 1st year. After that, it will be the same for both the 1st and 2nd-year students. It's from 9 only.  Another difference is in terms of strength as in the 2nd shift, there are 75 students while for the 1st shift, the strength is for 60 students. The concept of two shifts is simple as it is to get more students and to increase the intake as per the existing infrastructure. Apart from this, everything including the projects, classes, syllabus, faculty, and events remains the same and has no difference.
