Admission was pretty easy not much stress. I had written a cet exam before joining and based on it I got the govt seat in college. You can actually see all details of the form from KEA board( Karnataka education board) where everything from college cut off, courses given on the website. I am a obc and I had chance of reservation benefits but I couldn't get it through that but a general seat. Admission process was pretty easy
I'm greatly interested in civil engineering and that's why I joined the course. The curriculum greatly interested me because it's easy to understand and not too stressing. We have no of situations where they teach you to be ready for the real world. I dont think it neesds any improvement because I feel it's enough. Timing of exams can actually be changed because honestly I want gaps for my exams in just 4 months span i completed 1 sem that's why.
Ive been paying 1,02,000 from the starting that I entered the college. And no it has not increased a bit because it's the govt fee. Because I joined through govt seat. But if you're joining it may increase due to management fee other than that they don't take any fee like development fee or lab fee nothing such like that. Coming to the category wise my friend who is a sc st also have to pay the same amount but they can apply scholarship and pay around just 25% of the fees which I think is really helpful for them and yes scholarship is available for all caste and religion. Which makes affordable to everyone.
We have - every year we celebrate furore which takes 3 days - every year we have ethnic day which I love the most - every year we take up sports activities includes all like volleyball cricket throwball et - we have a great liberary which is accessible just through a ID card -
Our class has 77 members and we have 3 section in total. Which also has around 77 members actually. And our lecture are of 30 members which I think is pretty good. The previous college i was in they just had 5 lecture in total which was too small. So yeah lecture can actually teach us well in common and i learn greatly. Each 16 students have their own mentors which is amazing. You can actually tell your problems to them. Honestly we interact with them very often like everyday we have classes where we can interact with them.
They try their best to get placed for each and every student. But there are some eligibility for sitting into the placement. They give training for placement and highest package offered is 46 lpa and average is around 7 to 8 lpa.
The curriculum is very good due to autonomous but afflicted to vtu . They conduct own exam we will get important questions bank by faculty this influenced my decision to choose this Difficulty level is moderate. The college should improve by placement ratio
You should maintain around 8 cogs and above so that you can have a guaranteed placement and students are eligible after 3rd year to get placements and placement rates are pretty good with the avg being 7lpa
From 7th sem students become eligible for placement around 250 companies visit our college and this around 1300 offers has been made around 70% student get placed if any student is not placed than he can apply for off campus since our college is in Bengaluru so there are lots of options for freshers
Campus placement of the college is pretty good as compèred to some college of Banglore and there is separate placement cell for placement related Things and companies which are mass recruiters also visits the college
Due to recession going on the placements offerd to students are way less compared to past years , but there are other plans if it doesn't happen there are plans for off campus placements . The highest packages of this ywar are barely 12,00,000 all because of recession.
I would rate the course curriculum at Srinivas University as highly relevant and comprehensive. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to keep pace with the latest industry trends and advancements, ensuring that students gain up-to-date knowledge and skills. It covers a broad range of topics within each discipline, providing a solid foundation while also allowing for specialized study in areas of interest.
