- The campus is equipped with state of the art facilities. From modern laboratories and libraries to advanced resources. The campus is WIFI enabled. there are spacious classrooms and well maintained playing grounds.
Dislikes
- Parking on campus can be hassle due to limited space at times.
- While the cafeteria offers a variety of options , the quality of food and taste can be inconsistent.
Remarks :
I was admitted through COMEDK . There are other processes too including KCET and through management. The admission process ia a bit cumbersome but manageable from our side. Course eligiblity is passing 12th or PUs with min of 75 percent, which is a subject to change.
Course Curriculum Overview :
First year includes the foundation courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry and basic software engineering principle including a basic intro to all other engineering disciplines. Practical application is also a key for growth , view in to that , proper hands on experience is provided in lab practicals by specific coordinators. Exam frequency is also up to the mark.
Internships Opportunities :
Capgemini - around 12k to 15k per month Cognizant GENC - around 12k to 15k per month PWC AC - 35k per month Deloitte - 25k per month DRDO - 37k per month epsilon - 30k per month TEMENTOS - 15k per month other compines including epicor , amazon web services , sonicwall etc.
Placement Experience :
Overall placements of the college is decent with a plethora of companies inculding amazon coming to our college for recruitment process. Average package varies around the respective disciplines with ISE topping other courses with an average package of 12L per annum. Nearly 90% students get placements with the rest of them starting their own enterprises. Personally, everyone get some results , but the journet is what is important , and our college provide a fun experience for that.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee increase is optimable and affordable . Rougly it costs around 2.42 Lakh per year excluding the hostel fees with a little hike per annum. Intership is provided by the college in 3rd years , with both paid and unpaid inculded.
Campus Life :
There are 2 annual festivals held throughout the year, with minor festivals celebrated thorughout the year. Library provide a comfort place for studying and provides ample amount of materials for academic improvement. Sports events are also celebrated , with inter departmental events. There are gym resources provided as well as sports room dedicated for students. There are a huge number of clubs and events available for students to choose through.
Faculty :
The faculty at BMSIT includes a blend of experienced professors and young, dynamic educators. Many of them hold advanced degrees and have substantial industry experience. There is a rich diversity in both the teaching methods as well as their academic backgrounds providing new insights for the students. Professors here are well appreciated by students due to their approachability and willingness to help students in class hours as well later too.
