Remarks :
I am more intersted in research in field of mathematics and computing and IISc is best known for its research facilities , so I had chosen IISc MnC over MnC at top IIT's Here i got a chance to meet with other top reaearcher in the field of computing and data science who are not so interested in corporates job and rather wants to do research in this field . The addmission to this course is through only JEE ADVANCED . so one need to qualify JEE ADVANCED to get into this course, with a very good rank mostly within rank 500
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum followed in IISc are the latest and at par with Global universities . Curriculum is rigorous with multiple quizzes and suprise tests. We get to work under eminent proffessors and scientist which impart great values to our research work Usually we have 25-27 hours of class + labs per week.
Placement Experience :
Placements are quite good , but not many opt for placements . As this is mainly a research institute so many go to pursue higher studies abroad and large researchand development centers I have a plan to pursue masters in this fielsd and continue my research work in this field.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees(INR) at IISc Bengaluru is as follows: Tuition Fee - 200000 Gymkhana - 1200 other academic activity- 3700 one time deposits- 15000 students emergency fund - 300 hostel and mess - 80000 Meancs-cum-merit scholarship for tuition fee waiver available for 25% of the students studying in the institute. Full tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/Pwd candidates
Campus Life :
Campus life is full of epiphanies and sweetw and heartwarming moments. With a large group of like minded peergroup we organize many workshops related to science and engineering also many fests for cultural programmes. Classromms are well equipped with latest technologies which is availbale in INDIA. We have facilities for every type of sporting facilities . A lot of studnet run societys/clubs are there in college.
Faculty :
The student to faculty ratio at IISc is around 8.3 All faculties are reachable by email , phone and also physically in offices and classroom All faculites here are emeritus proffessors and respected scientist with a vast knowledge in their domain of study. Also, many foreign university proffs visit for guest lectures and sometimes famous scientist also visit IISc campus.

Students of 6-7th semester are eligible for the internships provided by the college. Many companies like cognizant,IBM, Mercedes, Meta have visited the college with mass recruitments. The recent highest package offered was 40 lakhs per annum

The training for placement will start by the end of 4th semester and then we will be eligble for for our first internship.Later at 6th semester the college will provide stipend internship.Several companies visit every year almost more than 60 and all the students get place. There is 100% placement.The highest package for the year 2023-24 is 35lpa and the average package is 7lpa

Placements wise it's decent. The placement is active. College does provide you with exposure and opportunities. For opportunities it also depends on the department how supportive your department is. But having a decent cgpa and good network students can get a good decent placement. Apart from this there are multiple clubs related to academics . These also provide with good opportunities every year 2-3 students crack gsoc from these .

Course Curriculum Overview :
In curriculum very good infrastructure and they arranged lots of fests and sports in college. in every month almost at least one of the fest or sports is arrenged. In SARAGAM FEST they allow only college students.
