The students fulfilling the eligibility criteria must appear in the state level entrance exam namely TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission). Candidates need to register their basic details like personal and contact details. Students can obtain the prospectus and application form in person from the college campus. Duly-filled applications must be sent by registered post or submitted in person to the college office.
Listed below is the admission procedure to be followed by the students seeking admission in the college:
Step 1: Registration
Candidates will require to register on the official website of the college using their basic details like name, father’s name, address, mobile number, and e-mail. One must provide a correct mobile number as all the communication for TNEA counseling will be made through it.
Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fees
Having registered successfully, the student needs to pay the application fee as per their respective category. The fees for general candidate is INR 400 whereas INR 250 is for SC and ST candidates.
Step 3: Submission of Form
Candidates must verify their details filled in the application form as no corrections will be allowed in later stages. After verifying all the details, the candidate can submit the completely filled application form.
Step 4: Allotment of registration number
Candidates will be allotted a random 10-digit number after their registration is completed. The purpose of the random number of TNEA is to help break the tie between candidates even after exhausting all rules.
Step 5: Document Verification
All those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form and has been allotted random number are required to report at TNEA facilitation centers for document verification.
Step 6: Preparation of merit list
The conducting authority of TNEA will prepare a merit list on the basis of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Marks scored by a candidate in PCM will be calculated out of 100 with the break-up of 100 marks for Mathematics and 50 marks each for Physics and Chemistry. Physics and Chemistry subjects carry equal weightage.
Step 7: Counselling
Shortlisted candidates will be called for TNEA counseling at the allotted centers. Candidates are also required to submit an initial fee of INR 5000 (INR 1000 in case of SC/ST) towards college admission. Students must fill choices in order of their preference and should enter as many choices as they can for higher chances of getting a seat in the college.
Step 8: Seat Allotment Result
The allotment of seat will be made solely on the basis of merit list prepared by DOTE, choices filled and category of the candidate. Candidate has to log in to their TNEA account to see the result of seat allotment.

The placement cell of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology plays an important role in guiding the students for successful placements. It organizes pre-placement activities like seminars, expert talks, mock interviews, workshops to boost the students for the placement drive.
