Candidates can obtain the Application Form in person from the 60 centres (detailed on Anna University’s official website) by paying Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu, on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft.

By Post:

Application Forms can also be obtained by post from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025" by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.450/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed

The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tnea2015; the procedure for registration is available in the website. All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05th May 2015

Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.E Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

• Candidate must have passed 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects with a minimum average percentage given below.
• For Communities other than BC / BC (Muslims) / MBC & DNC / SC /ST & Other Communities – A minimum average of 45% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For BC / BCM Communities – A minimum average of 40% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For MBC & DNC Communities – A minimum average of 40% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For SC / ST – belonging to Tamilnadu, a mere pass (40%) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Candidates will be selected through TNEA Counselling.
