Remarks:

For BSc ( UG) there is no entrance exam, it's strictly based on the 12th standard percentage. The cut-off was 85% in 2020. To find the application form Before filling out the college application individual need to fill out the Mumbai university form and then go for filling out the specific college application. When I joined here , Reservation was removed. It was common for all . But for Gujarati minority the cut off is around 60.4% in SSC Examinations But now reservation benefits can be attained by applying to various schemes ( that college offers) through the government.

The admission process at Mithibai College is quite straightforward and transparent. Students who wish to enroll in this college have to fill up an online application form, which is usually available on the college's official website. In addition to the application form, students are also required to submit their academic transcripts and other relevant documents. For example, for admission to the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program, students have to appear for the Mumbai University Common Entrance Test (MU-CET). The application process for the entrance exam involves filling up an online form and paying the required fees. Remarks:

I was a student of Mithibai college in my 12th standard, so I did not have to take any entrance examinations. However, a good percentage is required if you wish to take admission. I would say if you don't have more than 80% in your 12th standard exam, you cannot get into the college.

● Top Answer By Abhijeet Singhal on 09 Aug 21

Ans
In terms of academics, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics would be the best option among the above-mentioned colleges.  NM College has strict rules for conduct which are thoroughly followed very seriously in classrooms as well as colleges’ premises.  It is known to have a good environment and you can focus very well on your studies. NM College does not only focus on theoretical knowledge but focuses on practical learning as well. There is a placement cell that invites various companies for job interviews. The placements are good. NM College of Commerce and Economics is undoubtedly one of the best of all.

Ques
What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at Mithibai College?

● Top Answer By Shagun Pednekar on 14 Jan 22

Ans
You as a student of Mithibai College Mumbai should keep an open mind and expect a tremendous change if you are coming from any other state. Life in Mithibai is easy but it will take some time to blend in. Mumbai stereotypes mostly do not hold true about Mithibai.  People here are not arrogant but welcoming and accepting enough.  The college is in Juhu which is an upper class neighborhood, but is bordered by Andheri and Vile Parle so there is a diverse student crowd. Being a part of the college, it is suggested that you take part in the fests and cultural activities. It would help you to get to know your college and their students better.  Mithibai is a strict college consisting of studious and competitive people, so you have to study hard to keep up with others.  Scoring good marks is easy, if you concentrate on your studies from the beginning of the classes and not just prepare a couple of days before the examination. Visit the canteen and explore the campus after lectures are over to mix up with people. Nearby places around Mithibai are also happening and full of energy, explore the neighborhood as there is a lot of scope for hangouts and clubbing.

Ques
How is Mithibai College Mumbai for a B.Com?

● Top Answer By Riya Gaur on 14 Jan 22

Ans
According to the reviews online, if you are pursuing a very demanding professional course, rethink about joining Mithibai college. Firstly, you will need to maintain at least 75% attendance, missing that you won't be able to sit for your examinations.  Due to autonomy, they have got powers to change the examination system according to their will. While all other colleges have just one internal (FC), here they have internals for every subject.  These internals include a written test of 25 marks for Maths, Economics and Accounts.  For the other subjects, they want you to do projects and make PPTs and give a proper presentation.  All these take away your time for your professional exam studies.  This is a problem because you also have to study for the semester exams.  So while every other college's CA students study once at the end, students here have to study throughout. If you are pursuing B.Com, it is suggested that you go for other options like HR and NM. The teaching faculty is better than other colleges, so that is a plus. Lastly, it completely depends on your choice to pursue B.Com here or not.

How is Mithibai College for Psychology?

● Top Answer By Aisha Bannerjee on 14 Jan 22

Ans
Mithibai College is great for the arts stream, especially when it comes to psychology.  The teachers here are well qualified with years of educational experience.  They are a bit more strict than other colleges, but this ultimately maintains discipline in your life.  It is also not very easy to get into Mithibai College.  Students are required to score really good marks to get admission here.  There are many workshops and events arranged for the students to develop personally. SoTherefore, it is a great choice for psychology. Also students willing to study further with a masters in industrial psychology, you will get the opportunity here.

If you are applying for Commerce in Mumbai, then Mithibai is definitely the better option. Reasons for choosing Mithibai over Ruparel College are obvious.
