Assam Women’s University offers BA program in one specialization and BPT program of 3-years duration with the capacity of 25 students in each.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks in any discipline are considered eligible to get admission to BA in the Psychology program. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to Physiotherapy program is candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Admission to both the programs is given on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the University.

Assam Women’s University offers MA course with 8 disciplines, M.Sc. in Fashion Design and Technology, along with MCA, MBA, MTTM, and MLIS course. Each course is of 2-years duration with the intake of 25 students in each.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to MA program is candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline with minimum 45% marks. Similarly, those who have B.Sc. in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible to get admission to M.Sc. program. Candidates who have done Bachelor’s degree in any specialization with not less than 50% marks are eligible to join MBA program. Those who hold minimum 45% marks in Graduation Degree are eligible to get admission to MTTM and MLIS courses. Applicants who have done BCA or B.Sc. in CS/ IT/ Electronics or PGDCA or Graduation in Mathematics or Statistics with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to MCA.

Admission to all the programs is done on the basis of written test conducted by the university. For M.Sc., admission is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. In MBA and MA in Mass Communication, the university also conducts GD/PI along with a written test.
