St. Joseph University was established in 2016 under govt. act. no. 6. It is a private, catholic research university run by DMI (Daughter of Mary Immaculate) sisters and MMI (Missionaries of Mary Immaculate) fathers with a genuine aim of providing education to the people of Nagaland. The university is recognised by UGC (University Grants Commission) and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
The university offers various courses in Departments of Arts, Science, Engineering and Management. The courses offered by the institute are BA (Hons.), B.SC. (Hons.), BCA, BBA, B.Com. (Hons.), BSW, B.Tech, MA, M.Sc., M.Com., MCA, MBA, and Ph.D.
Admission to all the programs is granted on the basis of merit although for admission to B.Tech. and MBA, the candidates must possess a valid score in the entrance exams (JEE Main and MAT respectively).

St. Joseph University Admission 2024
Admission to all the programs is granted on the basis of merit although for admission to B.Tech. and MBA, the candidates must possess a valid score in the entrance exams (JEE Main and MAT respectively).
Considering the present situation the university is conducting online applications for the year. The Online Admission Desk will be working from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the weekdays.
The admission procedure is undergiven:
Step 1: The candidate should first login in the University's Admission portal
Step 2: After registration, candidates can apply for the desired courses.
Step 3: (Document Verification) Once the process of application is completed, now the candidate has to send the documents the college official Id, i.e. admission@stjosephuniv.edu.in . Send all the documents in a single Mail.
Step 4: After the verification of the documents, the students will be called for a telephonic preliminary interview by the Online Admission Desk.
Step 5: Submit the tuition fee online and after the submission send the E-Receipt on the email id.
