Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.tech because I wanted to be a software engineer in field of AI. Faculties in college are quite good but not so good there are 60 students in a class and it is quite good but mainly teachers are qualified in their perspective subjects and they are good in teaching. Term exams are in one month or in half and one month in it is not so hard and not SO simple to pass.

Nice Placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is for 4 years. I am interested in these fields that's why I choose CSE. They are giving just a 1-month gap between two Mid sem tests and in one day we have to appear in two exams. In end sem exam they provide a sufficient gap between exams. Exams are neither really tough nor really easy. The faculty ratio 1:30.

It is very difficult to compare the college before and after becoming a university since it is very new. However, here are a few of the reviews and comparisons given by my friends at the institute. The average JEE Main score of 2015-19 batch (last batch of Rgpv at Medicaps) was 110+ as compared to previous batches which were around 70, 60, and even 20 at times. There were a lot of 80+ scoring students in board exams in the 2015 batch and now the cutoff scores for admission have been less. From the batch of 2015, only one person got a GATE rank of 50 and the rest were under 500 ranks. Most of the students of the last batch got admission in high b schools after passing out from this college like MDI Gurgaon, IIFT, IIsc Bangalore, IIM Indore, and other IIM’s. The college students have become more enthusiastic as most of the students have shared their initiatives on the Ted ex platform. Most of the IT and CS batch students have got two offers from the campus hiring process. As of now, it is difficult to say definitely whether the institute has improved after becoming a university since it’s too early.

In terms of academics, infrastructure, and faculties, Medicaps Indore is better than LNCT Bhopal. The campus has a great environment. Various festivals and events are organized throughout the academic year. Medicap’s tech-fest MOONSTONE is famous. The university has a decent placement record. Major MNCs like Walmart, Google, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. visited Medi-caps placements in 2022.

One of my friends is a pass out from Medi-Caps University Indore and she had a very nice experience. With the interaction I had with her, here are some of the insights she shared with me that might be helpful: The infrastructure of the overall college is good but the classes are not well maintained. The library has a huge variety of many fictional and non-fictional books. The University’s computer center is equipped with more than 800 computers and has a Wi-Fi speed of 100 Mbps. The University has a gym including a variety of machines and different types of equipment. Like free-weights, resistance machines, etc The campus has an open-air canteen. Food is hygienic and of good quality. It functions even after college hours. The university has laboratories, equipped with high-end hardware and software. Categories B.Tech CSE at Medicaps Indore Course Fee 4.85 lakh Placement Percentage 90% Highest CTC 15-20 LPA Average CTC 4 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Infosys, Wipro, MindTree, Capgemini, etc. Discipline is a very important aspect of Medicaps, all students are advised to maintain decorum in the university. Classes are held regularly and most of the faculty members are very knowledgeable and student-friendly. It is known to be one of the best colleges for Btech in Madhya Pradesh. She had a wonderful experience there.

My cousin graduated from Medi-caps in 2017 and he was recruited by a software company in Hyderabad. He was enrolled in Electric and Electronics Engineering and had maintained an average Score Card throughout his college life. Medi-caps has built up a really good impression and image for itself in the last decade. Computer Science Engineering along with Mechanical Engineering at Medi-caps requires the highest cut-off score across all branches. Placement opportunities provided to students are extremely good as compared to other major private colleges in Madhya Pradesh. This is especially true for CS/IT students as per official reports and data in the past few years. While TCS recruits over 200 every time it visits the campus for its recruitment drive. The college also has more product-based companies that visit regularly like Impetus, Amdocs, GGK, DXC (previously CSC), just to name a few of many others. Symbiosis Indore is a fairly new institute and though you may find better infrastructure and facilities there, you will find the crowd there to be as good as Medi-Caps. Here’s an insight into the CSE course at the institutes. LNCT Bhopal is ranked among the top 10 engineering colleges in MP. There is a reason for it being ranked high. The placement drive is very good at LNCT in the IT and CS department. The infrastructure is well maintained too. Your efforts can help you to bag the premium package companies. In the other departments, you might not get such good placements but you are assured of it in IT and CS. In 2020, the highest CTC offered in the campus placement was 27 LPA by Microsoft. Medi-Caps Indore is good too since it summons companies like HDFC Bank, Jio and it is all on you, your caliber, to crack those jobs and get a handsome salary. Overall, LNCT will be a better choice since it is among the top institutes in MP and it also has a great placement record.

The faculty are not well experienced. Their teaching method is also average. Only mass recruiting companies like TCS take part in the placement program. They also offer very low salary packages to engineering graduates. Only 4-5% of students in private engineering colleges are placed in core EC and EEE companies. One of my friends studied at Medicaps and according to him, it is really good. In Medi-Caps, placements for EC are quite good, with approximately 60–70% of students being placed, primarily in IT companies such as TCS, DXC, Amdocs, Impetus, and others. Placements for EEE and Mechanical may not match that percentage; roughly 40% of students from both branches are placed. Companies such as the aforementioned IT firms or core companies such as Force Motors, Mahindra, Triveni turbines, visit the campus every year in search of good placements. There is no surety that you can change from government to private college. Even if you get a chance to do that you should always choose your priority. One of my friends was in a similar dilemma a few years back and he chose Medi-Cap University because it is located in Indore and he was looking for better coaching institutions. But nowadays coaching institutions are also available at Ujjain and you can study in college and do your preparation as well. Since Ujjain engineering college does not have a proper attendance system you will get a lot of time for further preparation. Both the colleges are similar in nature, there is not much difference between them. Faculties are better at UEC in comparison to Medicaps University. Medi Caps University is a private institution the fees are quite high as compared to UEC college. UEC also offers a peaceful environment.
