One of my friends is a pass out from Medi-Caps University Indore and she had a very nice experience. With the interaction I had with her, here are some of the insights she shared with me that might be helpful:

• The infrastructure of the overall college is good but the classes are not well maintained.
• The library has a huge variety of many fictional and non-fictional books.
• The University’s computer center is equipped with more than 800 computers and has a Wi-Fi speed of 100 Mbps.
• The University has a gym including a variety of machines and different types of equipment. Like free-weights, resistance machines, etc
• The campus has an open-air canteen. Food is hygienic and of good quality. It functions even after college hours.
• The university has laboratories, equipped with high-end hardware and software.

Discipline is a very important aspect of Medicaps, all students are advised to maintain decorum in the university. Classes are held regularly and most of the faculty members are very knowledgeable and student-friendly. It is known to be one of the best colleges for Btech in Madhya Pradesh. She had a wonderful experience there.

My cousin graduated from Medi-caps in 2017 and he was recruited by a software company in Hyderabad. He was enrolled in Electric and Electronics Engineering and had maintained an average Score Card throughout his college life.

• Medi-caps has built up a really good impression and image for itself in the last decade. Computer Science Engineering along with Mechanical Engineering at Medi-caps requires the highest cut-off score across all branches.
• Placement opportunities provided to students are extremely good as compared to other major private colleges in Madhya Pradesh. This is especially true for CS/IT students as per official reports and data in the past few years. While TCS recruits over 200 every time it visits the campus for its recruitment drive. The college also has more product-based companies that visit regularly like Impetus, Amdocs, GGK, DXC (previously CSC), just to name a few of many others.
• Symbiosis Indore is a fairly new institute and though you may find better infrastructure and facilities there, you will find the crowd there to be as good as Medi-Caps.

The faculty members of Medi-caps are also considered to be better than Symbiosis as per testimonials by many students.

According to my friends at LNCT, it is one of Central India's best private institutes. World-class facilities, excellent infrastructure, well-equipped high-tech laboratories, enriched libraries, and a student-friendly campus with Wi-Fi all contribute significantly to students' overall holistic development.

• Expert faculty members provide students with a high-quality education.
• The Training and Placement Cell actively collaborates with students and administration to assist them in obtaining a position in any company of their choice.
• You, as a student, must attend lectures on a regular basis and work continuously to improve their technical and managerial skills, which will aid them in obtaining a good job.

All of these factors, such as high-quality education and numerous career opportunities, make the name LNCT synonymous with excellence.

One of my friends studied at Medicaps University. According to him, there are no placements. The ones that are offered are mediocre and average.

They are very strict about attendance. The faculty are not well experienced. Their teaching method is also average.

Only mass recruiting companies like TCS take part in the placement program. They also offer very low salary packages to engineering graduates.

Owing to its not-so-good reviews in the field of engineering it is advisable to choose whatever is best for you only after considering the various aspects of it.

Only 4-5% of students in private engineering colleges are placed in core EC and EEE companies. One of my friends studied at Medicaps and according to him, it is really good.

• In Medi-Caps, placements for EC are quite good, with approximately 60–70% of students being placed, primarily in IT companies such as TCS, DXC, Amdocs, Impetus, and others.
• Placements for EEE and Mechanical may not match that percentage; roughly 40% of students from both branches are placed.
• Companies such as the aforementioned IT firms or core companies such as Force Motors, Mahindra, Triveni turbines, visit the campus every year in search of good placements.

Overall Medi-Caps is good in terms of placements. You could easily opt for this college. It has a well-maintained infrastructure, proper facilities, and very good placement records.

There is no surety that you can change from government to private college. Even if you get a chance to do that you should always choose your priority.

One of my friends was in a similar dilemma a few years back and he chose Medi-Cap University because it is located in Indore and he was looking for better coaching institutions. But nowadays coaching institutions are also available at Ujjain and you can study in college and do your preparation as well. Since Ujjain engineering college does not have a proper attendance system you will get a lot of time for further preparation.

Both the colleges are similar in nature, there is not much difference between them. Faculties are better at UEC in comparison to Medicaps University. Medi Caps University is a private institution the fees are quite high as compared to UEC college. UEC also offers a peaceful environment.
