Medicaps Institute of Technology and Management which was established in 2000 was renamed as Medicaps University in 2016. The university is located in Rau (Indore), Madhya Pradesh and offers UG, PG courses in Engineering, Sciences, Computer, Management and Agriculture etc.

Additionally, Medicaps University also offers a Ph.D. course in various disciplines and an integrated BCA-MCA course. Application forms can be filled online for all the courses offered.

  • Selection in B.Tech is based on the valid score of JEE Main/ MU SAT and merit in 10+2 (if seats remain vacant).
  • For admissions to M.Tech and MBA courses, candidates should have valid GATE and CAT/ CMAT score respectively.
  • Selection in the rest of the PG and UG courses is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Medicaps University B.Tech and M.Tech Admission 2023

Medicaps University offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in various specializations in full-time mode. For admission to B.Tech, candidates must have passed HSC in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 45% marks in PCM. Selections will be done according to the valid score in JEE Main.

The eligibility for admission to M.Tech is BE/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc from a recognized university. Candidates applying will be selected on the basis of a valid GATE score.

Medicaps Online Admission Process 2022

Candidates seeking admission to various programs offered by the Medicaps University must register themselves through the admission portal. For ease of the students, the documents may be uploaded online as well as offline.

The students can follow the below mentioned steps to apply online.

Online Application

Students can visit the official website and click on Admission Registration 2022-23 tab.

The online registration will guide you through the process

Step 1: Registration Sign-in Page Medicaps Portal

  • Click on New Registration link for signing up on Medicaps-2022. No fee is required for registration.
  • Applicants need to fill up their basic details along with the courses/programs they wish to pursue. This can be changed later during online application, as per requirements.
  • After successful registration, login details and application number will be sent to the candidate's email ID.
  • Applicants can change their password once they login successfully.
  • Applicants must make sure all the details are entered correctly before submitting.

Step 2- Online Application

  • In the sign-in page of Medicaps, enter Username and Password and press submit.
  • Enter your personal details.
  • Enter the details of your academic background to meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates need to fill in the details to verify the results online.
  • Please make sure the results are available with you before applying. If your results are not yet announced, click on the check box that appears on your screen.
  • Then enter the entrance examination details. 
  • Select the courses and programs and specialization.
  • Multiple choices in defined order can be selected as the priority of the applicant. 
  • Self attested photocopies of mandatory documents need to be uploaded.
  • After agreeing to the rules and regulations, the candidate can proceed further for payment. 
  • A payment of Rs. 1580/- is to be made via Online Payment Gateways or UPI.
  • It will generate the receipt of above application form with filled details along with rules of admission and application fees policies.

Phase 3-Online Counselling (Merit Basis Seat Allotment) and Reporting

  • The candidate can view his/her allotment according to applied preferences and cut off marks decided by the University and take a print.
  • After confirming allotment, the applicant can proceed for fee payments and other details. It contains a fees refund policy and cancellation policy of the university.
  • If not satisfied with their allotment, the candidate can forward their form to the next round. The re-counselling form fee is Rs 500.
  • The applicant with nil allotment will not be charged any fee for the next round of counselling.
  • The applicant eager to take the admission in allotted branches can go ahead and check the reporting procedure. The details of document verification and semester fee payment at the university premises on or before the assigned dates are included. 
  • The seats will be treated as vacant, if the candidate fails to report during the assigned tenure 

Offline Application 

Candidates must visit the University campus with the relevant documents and follow the above mentioned steps for offline application.

Medicaps University PG Admission 2023: MBA, MCA, M.Sc & MA

Medicaps University offers MA, M.Sc, MBA and MCA courses at the PG level. Candidates applying for any of these courses should have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.

For admission to MBA course, a valid score in CAT/ CMAT or GMAT is required by a candidate. Admission to MCA, MA and M.Sc course is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Medicaps University Ph.D. Admission 2023

Medicaps University provides doctoral degree courses in various disciplines of Engineering, Commerce, Management, and Sciences. The minimum eligibility for admission is a Master’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Selection will be based on written test and interview conducted by the university. Shortlisted candidates will be called in for an interview round.

Medicaps Online Admission Process (MOAP) 2023

Candidates seeking admission to various programs offered by the Medicaps University must register themselves through the admission portal starting from January 25, 2022. For ease of the students, the documents may be uploaded online as well as offline.

Log on the Medicaps University Website and click on Admission tab. Then, Go to the link Registration for Admission 2022. The online admission system will guide you through the complete process

Steps to Apply Online:

Step 1: Registration

  1. The first time user should go to “New Registration” link for signing up with the Admission portal 2022.
  2. After Successful Registration, the candidate will receive a verification mail on his/her registered e-mail id.
  3. The candidate has to click on the verification link received on mail, he/she will be redirected to the Candidate profile account on Medi-Caps Portal.
  4. The Candidate can fill the application from his/her account profile.
  5. After the completing the application form the candidate has to done the payment of Rs. 1580/- through Debit/Credit Card/ Internet Banking. 
  6. Once the payment is done, the Candidate application number will be generated which he/she can use for further communication.
  7. Candidate can download Application form and acknowledgment receipt from his/her account profile. 

Step 2: Program Selection and Course Choice

Login by using your ID and Password. Fill the following details in the application form listed below:

  • Qualification Details
  • Choice Preference (For B. Tech Programs, candidate must select at least five courses in order of priority, no matter if they select any interdisciplinary discipline)

Medicaps University Offline Application Process 2022

Students can fill the offline application form by visiting the Medicaps University campus along with the desired documents.

Medicaps University Counselling Process 2022

For admission, the university will conduct online counselling, on the allotment dates the applicant can view his/her allotment for which the selection and allotment notification SMS is sent to all the candidates. In this option, the applicant can perform the following operations:

According to the applied preferences and cut-off marks decided by the University, the candidate can view his/her allotment and take a print.  After confirming allotment, the applicant can proceed for fee payments and other details. It contains the cancellation and fees refund policy of university.

Applicant, if not satisfied with the present allotment, then they can forward their form for the next round. Those who want to reappear for the next round will have to pay Re-Counselling Form Fee of Rs. 500/- via Online Payment Gateways or UPI. The applicant who has Nil allotment will not be charged any fee for the next round Counselling.

Medicaps University Scholarship Details

Following scholarships are offered by Medicaps University:

  • Minority students whose parents’ annual income is less than INR 2.5 Lakhs will be provided Government of India Merit – cum- Means scholarship.
  • Those candidates whose parents’ annual income is less than INR 3 Lakhs and who have scored at least 80% marks are in top 500, 2500,1000 and 1000 in HSC in Agriculture, Science, Arts or Humanities respectively are provided Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Scholarship.

  • As per Government norms, Chancellor’s Scholarship is available for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Candidates.

Remarks:

Based on the entrance exam and take admission through counseling done by the government. The application form is found on the website of medicaps because medicaps is an autonomous college. The college improves the admission process.

Remarks:

Admission process is quite simple. It's just a required 12th percentage more than 75 percentage . I got 77 percentage in my 12th so it is easy to get the seat in mu. Eligibility of course is just a percentage above 75 in 12th. You can find application dates in college or on the site of college. Reservation is available for SC ST and OBC. Admission fees Is something around 1500. The stop is not sufficient they required more staff for admission process because it was quite time taken in medicaps.

In medi caps, University admission is through jee and 12th percentage. The application form and fee structure can be found on their official website. The admission process is good everything is online only.

Remarks:

I have taken admission through my 12th percentage as I have not appeared in JEE Mains. The admission process was online and once you selected you had to go to the college for document verification. You can find applications for and admission dates on medi-caps official website. I have not opted for any reservation benefits.

Remarks:

eligibility for the b.tech (cs) was the student should have a minimum of 80 per cent in class 12 and should have more than 70 per cent in the joint entrance examination (jee). I found the application form in college and I paid 1510 rupees as my application fee. the admission process was nice.

Remarks:

The whole procedure of admission was quite easy. I came here one month before starting classes and they give me my favourite branch easily an early bird where my seat is allotted. Document verification is so easy. If you have scored decently on 12th boards you can easily get a BTech CSE branch.

Remarks:

The admission process was based on jee mains and twelfth board exams marks. However, fees are high But the study curriculum is best other than another college. As an elder brother, I would like to suggest this college to every engineering aspirant guy. Packages are also good enough.

It is very difficult to compare the college before and after becoming a university since it is very new. However, here are a few of the reviews and comparisons given by my friends at the institute.  The average JEE Main score of 2015-19 batch (last batch of Rgpv at Medicaps) was 110+ as compared to previous batches which were around 70, 60, and even 20 at times. There were a lot of 80+ scoring students in board exams in the 2015 batch and now the cutoff scores for admission have been less. From the batch of 2015, only one person got a GATE rank of 50 and the rest were under 500 ranks. Most of the students of the last batch got admission in high b schools after passing out from this college like MDI Gurgaon, IIFT, IIsc Bangalore, IIM Indore, and other IIM’s. The college students have become more enthusiastic as most of the students have shared their initiatives on the Ted ex platform. Most of the IT and CS batch students have got two offers from the campus hiring process. As of now, it is difficult to say definitely whether the institute has improved after becoming a university since it’s too early.

In terms of academics, infrastructure, and faculties, Medicaps Indore is better than LNCT Bhopal. The campus has a great environment. Various festivals and events are organized throughout the academic year. Medicap’s tech-fest MOONSTONE is famous. The university has a decent placement record. Major MNCs like Walmart, Google, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. visited Medi-caps placements in 2022.

One of my friends is a pass out from Medi-Caps University Indore and she had a very nice experience. With the interaction I had with her, here are some of the insights she shared with me that might be helpful: The infrastructure of the overall college is good but the classes are not well maintained. The library has a huge variety of many fictional and non-fictional books. The University’s computer center is equipped with more than 800 computers and has a Wi-Fi speed of 100 Mbps. The University has a gym including a variety of machines and different types of equipment. Like free-weights, resistance machines, etc The campus has an open-air canteen. Food is hygienic and of good quality. It functions even after college hours. The university has laboratories, equipped with high-end hardware and software. Categories B.Tech CSE at Medicaps Indore Course Fee 4.85 lakh Placement Percentage 90% Highest CTC 15-20 LPA Average CTC 4 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Infosys, Wipro, MindTree, Capgemini, etc. Discipline is a very important aspect of Medicaps, all students are advised to maintain decorum in the university. Classes are held regularly and most of the faculty members are very knowledgeable and student-friendly. It is known to be one of the best colleges for Btech in Madhya Pradesh. She had a wonderful experience there.

My cousin graduated from Medi-caps in 2017 and he was recruited by a software company in Hyderabad. He was enrolled in Electric and Electronics Engineering and had maintained an average Score Card throughout his college life. Medi-caps has built up a really good impression and image for itself in the last decade. Computer Science Engineering along with Mechanical Engineering at Medi-caps requires the highest cut-off score across all branches. Placement opportunities provided to students are extremely good as compared to other major private colleges in Madhya Pradesh. This is especially true for CS/IT students as per official reports and data in the past few years. While TCS recruits over 200 every time it visits the campus for its recruitment drive. The college also has more product-based companies that visit regularly like Impetus, Amdocs, GGK, DXC (previously CSC), just to name a few of many others. Symbiosis Indore is a fairly new institute and though you may find better infrastructure and facilities there, you will find the crowd there to be as good as Medi-Caps. Here’s an insight into the CSE course at the institutes. Parameters Medi-Caps University Symbiosis, Indore Average CTC 4 LPA - Highest CTC 18 LPA 16 LPA Course Fee 4.84 lakhs 10.10 lakhs The faculty members of Medi-caps are also considered to be better than Symbiosis as per testimonials by many students.

Medi-Caps University is the best option as compared to the other universities mentioned here. Sage Universities have started recently. So, you will get better facilities at Medi-Caps.  However, if you have other better options, you should go for them instead. Medi-Caps is still a private college and the placement opportunities offered by this institute aren’t on the same level as SGSITS and DAVV.

LNCT Bhopal is ranked among the top 10 engineering colleges in MP. There is a reason for it being ranked high. The placement drive is very good at LNCT in the IT and CS department. The infrastructure is well maintained too. Your efforts can help you to bag the premium package companies. In the other departments, you might not get such good placements but you are assured of it in IT and CS. In 2020, the highest CTC offered in the campus placement was 27 LPA by Microsoft.  Medi-Caps Indore is good too since it summons companies like HDFC Bank, Jio and it is all on you, your caliber, to crack those jobs and get a handsome salary.  Overall, LNCT will be a better choice since it is among the top institutes in MP and it also has a great placement record.

One of my friends studied at Medicaps University. According to him, there are no placements. The ones that are offered are mediocre and average. They are very strict about attendance. The faculty are not well experienced. Their teaching method is also average. Only mass recruiting companies like TCS take part in the placement program. They also offer very low salary packages to engineering graduates. Only 4-5% of students in private engineering colleges are placed in core EC and EEE companies. One of my friends studied at Medicaps and according to him, it is really good. In Medi-Caps, placements for EC are quite good, with approximately 60–70% of students being placed, primarily in IT companies such as TCS, DXC, Amdocs, Impetus, and others. Placements for EEE and Mechanical may not match that percentage; roughly 40% of students from both branches are placed. Companies such as the aforementioned IT firms or core companies such as Force Motors, Mahindra, Triveni turbines, visit the campus every year in search of good placements. There is no surety that you can change from government to private college. Even if you get a chance to do that you should always choose your priority. One of my friends was in a similar dilemma a few years back and he chose Medi-Cap University because it is located in Indore and he was looking for better coaching institutions. But nowadays coaching institutions are also available at Ujjain and you can study in college and do your preparation as well. Since Ujjain engineering college does not have a proper attendance system you will get a lot of time for further preparation. Both the colleges are similar in nature, there is not much difference between them. Faculties are better at UEC in comparison to Medicaps University. Medi Caps University is a private institution the fees are quite high as compared to UEC college. UEC also offers a peaceful environment.
