IIM Amritsar Merit-Based MBA Scholarships 

IIM Amritsar offers a limited number of scholarships to its eligible MBA students based on their scholastic achievement and diversity. The amount of scholarship awarded to MBA students is distributed in 2 equal proportions during 2 years of MBA program:-

MBA Scholarship 1st Year: IIM Amritsar gives the scholarships to students based on their prior academic records, performance in MBA admission process, and diversity (including gender, economic, and other factors). 

MBA Scholarship Renewal 2nd Year: Students at IIM Amritsar can opt for renewal of their MBA Scholarships from 1st year based on academic performance and conduct during the first year of MBA program i.e. a minimum CGPA of 2.96. 

The selected students will receive the scholarship award letter along with their admission offer letter.

IIM Amritsar offers a limited amount of financial assistance to PhD students which includes a monthly stipend, an annual contingency grant, and a research grant to attend conferences and seminars. IIM Amritsar Government Scholarships 

  • National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students Scholarship - Ministry of Tribal Affairs. 
  • Students willing to pursue higher degree courses like MPhil, Ph. D or integrated M.Phil + Ph. D qualify to avail the National Fellowship Scholarships. 
  • Students are selected on merit-based and must possess a minimum 55% marks at PG level from a recognised university to be eligible for National Fellowship Scholarships. 
  • There are 750 scholarship seats available and there is no specific income criteria for students to be eligible under the National Fellowship Programmes. 
  • The maximum age to qualify for National Fellowship Scholarships should be 36 years, as on the first day of July of the relevant year of the award of scholarship.
