Hostel rooms are one of the best in the entire country. Single rooms are provided with all necessary amenities and give a premier feel. Meal quality on mess is quite standard and meets IIM standards across. The registration process is very simple and self-explanatory.

Annual Fest: Zero mile fest, Tangerine trails Availability of books and journals: Plenty of books are available and student subscriptions for premier magazines and software are available. Life at IIM Nagpur Mihan Campus

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is mandatory as it is a residential program. There are three hostels for PGP students. One hostel is for executive students. Each student is allotted a single occupancy room. There is no registration process for hostel availing. Meals are available at the mess. Meals include breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. However, mess services are not mandatory and students can opt for them based on their wishes. The campus is located on the outskirts of the city of Nagpur and renting a room is not possible. Also, it is not allowed to rent a room outside.

Campus Life:

Classes in the first year started at 8:45 am and went on till 1:45 pm. Each class had a duration of 1.5 hours. Books and case books are provided by the college. Also a lot of resources online and offline are available in the library. The college has twenty student-run clubs and committees. There is a sports complex and the campus has two lawns. There are four hostels. The placement committee is run by students. The annual cultural fest is called Zero Mile Fest. Besides there are events like Tangerine Trails, HR Conclave, and Sporting events. Various festivals like Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Pongal, X-mas, and events like New Year Events, and Fresher's parties are organized on campus. Café, Photocopy, Night canteen, Hairdresser, and Retail shops services are available.

Good but have a scope of improvement

Hostel Facilities:

IIM Nagpur provides a residential MBA so you have to stay in a hostel irrespective of your choice. The facilities are great. Each student gets their own room which is fully furnished with a wardrobe, bed, study table, etc.

Campus Life:

Life here at IIM Nagpur is awesome. There are around 15 clubs and committees which you can be a part of through the club induction process. Every month there are some or other activities happening. For example, Rhapsody is a sports fest where students are divided into houses through an auction process and they compete in different sports to win the final trophy.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel rooms are provided individually for each student. Washrooms are shared with multiple students and are very well maintained. Washing machines are kept in each wing of the hostels, with two machines for every floor. Meal quality is decent enough, with students ordering food from outside occasionally. The registration process is simple as it is handled by the Infrastructure committee, which the students run.

Campus Life:

The college conducts multiple fests. Since most of the clubs and committees are student-run, the schedule depends on the availability of students and academic commitments. Tangerine Trails and Zero Mile Fest are the flagship events for Acad and Non-Acad clubs. Classroom and Library facilities are top class, which are also maintained well. Management is slightly stricter than other colleges as they keep an eye on everything that happens in the college. All the clubs and committees, along with their responsibilities, are mentioned on the college website itself.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facility at the campus is very good. The college provides single occupancy rooms to all its students, which are well furnished and have all the amenities. The hostel fee for each semester is 35000 and the fees for a hostel are included in the overall course fees. Mess food is also good at IIM Nagpur and its menu changes every month. The mess fee is around 6000 per month. There is also a cafe and an essentials store on the campus for students.

Tangerine trails are the annual management fest of IIM Nagpur. It aims to provide a platform for all B-school students to showcase their abilities and test their skills across an engaging catalogue of management events organized by IIM Nagpur's academic clubs. It indeed is. As far as AIIMS is concerned, a search for a suitable site for its construction is still going on. Once the authorities come across such a site they feel is right, it would be worked upon right away. For the institute to get functional in real terms, it would take around a good whole 4 to 5 years. If I talk about IIIT, the situation is similar to the one I have mentioned for AIIMS. The construction can be a bit jittery initially. So, you can anticipate that the location would soon be finalized so that people get to work on it. The Central Government had already passed a proposal for the construction of AIIMS at least two years back, but it was on halt because of the State Government's refusal initially. There wasn't any action taken up to a stretch of 9 months. Finally, because of the efforts laid by the contemporary government, these files of the institute's construction were moved after 9 months.
