The course curriculum is nice and the student-friendly teachers are also quite good also they encourage if you have any doubts. The only thing here is relative grading which makes it good and also bad. Exams are at their pat level and test your knowledge.

The course for the first-year students is the same for all. All the branches study the same courses. In terms. Of academics iit kanpur is somewhat difficult as the grading policy is not good here and quizzes are after two weeks after the start of the course.

The curriculum of IIT Kanpur is a bit tough. A semester usually ends in 4 months and has 5-6 subjects. Most of the subjects in 1st year are Institute Compulsory courses which are taught to students of every batch. Department course starts from 2nd year.

Almost all have done PhD in respective fields that too from colleges around the world and are ready to help you out if u ask for it. We have our exams namely quizzes, mid sem and ends It all happens within 4 months Exams are not difficult to pass but its really difficult to get a good grade because the competition here is massive. Also, you must be looking at your friends who are from let's say tier 2 college, they study just one or two days before the exams and gets result but there is nothing as such.
