Hostel is provided with double sharing in which bed, chair, table, cupboard is provided. It is equipped with wifi and lan with speed of 1Gbps. common bathroom is there . Water coolers lift, Ac mess . Badminton court , gym, TT is also there in the hostel
Campus life is great in IIITA. Effervescence is the Annual fest that happens every year. Many coding competitions are held. Cultural activities are also there in the college. Almost every festival is celebrated in the college like Ganesh Chaturthi, garba night etc. The classroom is well equipped with the facilities and AC. Every sport is there in the college.
Read Full ReviewHostel facility is quite good. Mess food is also good. If you have any problem then warden will try to resolve it but it just only take a month to solve the problem. Badminton court is also at the middle of the hostel.
Efferervence is a fest which take place every year and technical fest is aproksha. Library is also in the college. Sports faculty is not too good as taking example that cricket kit is not there. Prayas is a social group run by the students .

IIIT Allahabad offers an enviable campus life. On weekdays there will be classes from 9.00 AM to 6 PM. The institute has a strict attendance rule. Students need to maintain at least 80% attendance. You will have theory and lab classes. After 6 pm, many students play cricket, football, or hang out. Some also study. You will meet all kinds of people in the hostel. Some people play video games with friends at night, some study, and some students play loud music until the guard asks them to turn the volume down.
Weekends are usually boring compared to weekdays. Students usually go out or play sports. Many students also use the weekends to finish their assignments and coursework.

IIIT Allahabad is a better option compared to NIT Rourkela. An IT degree from IIITA offers better career prospects. One of my friends told a story of IIIT Allahabad. It was in his 7th semester when this took place. We were just done with the farewell. He was presenting his end-semester project, and a batchmate called him and told him that there was a surprise check in the hostel. A friend wanted him to come to the hostel immediately.
He hurried up his presentation and ran to the hostel. When he reached, Karan and Raif were in the warden's room. He entered and Virender lined up 5-6 liquor bottles on the table. He pointed to 2-3 bottles kept on the floor and told them that they found this and the 5-6 bottles in his room. He also found a bucket that was filled with green water and some green matter on the top. The table was black from the ash, and the floor was littered with cigarette buds.
He goes on to lecture them about cleanliness and how he wanted them out of the hostel. This resulted in begging and pleading. Karan got pissed and started lashing out at Virender on how the cleaning guy is careless. My friend and Raif somehow stopped his yelling and got back to begging. It was their final month anyway since they had to go to their internships.
He finally relents and gives them an hour or something to clean everything up. So they go upstairs and start the cleaning themselves. He was using a broom and cleaning everything, carelessly. Karan yelled why are you using broom like that (using curse words), and at that moment another batchmate walked in who incidentally was nicknamed 'broom' and got offended and started using curse words as well.
The situation was hilarious and was one of the craziest moments we witnessed in IIIT Allahabad.
IIIT Allahabad is better than IIIT Delhi. It offers great academics in IT and has an extremely competitive campus environment. Students of the institute dominate almost every major coding platform. Over the years IIIT Allahabad students made their presence felt in competitive coding events such as GSoC, ACM ICPC, and Google Code Jam.
IIIT Allahabad placements 2022 witnessed an average CTC of INR 19 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 32.2 LPA.
IIIT Allahabad ECE is the best among these. It has a better course structure. The infrastructure and facilities are better as well.
IIIT Allahabad has one of the best coding cultures in the country. Even as a student of ECE, you can learn to code and have decent placement opportunities in the IT sector.
