Hostel Facilities:

PURE VEGETARIAN college no nonveg is available inside campus anyway many outside nonveg shops are there. Registration for a hostel is easy and affordable. I live in a hostel here. Meal quality is average hostel's foods are always nasty.

Campus Life:

Annual fest kuruksastra. Tech gets Daksha. Odd semesters are conducted from February to May. The library is very good. The classroom I don't like here. Many meme pages are there on Instagram for sastra. Life is pretty hard here.

Smart SASTRA

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel life is very good but we don't have non-veg items on the menu because the college running by vysyas and they have some traditions of not using Non-Veg inside of campus and the hostel. But they will give outings on Sundays.

Campus Life:

The campus is amazing and awesome and the physics department is very much interested in taking the students to participate extra curricular activities and participate in college-level competitions and organize an indoor game on campus.

Campus Life:

* There are many fests which would be a happening often are Theta,Kuruksastra etc and other tech fests too. * Not gonna lie, but they do have a tremendous and world class library facility for the students equipped with Wifi and they have up to date books and journals. * Classrooms are simple like every colleges. They have bench along with the desk to sit and fans all around. * Annual sports day would be conducted each and every year and other extra curricular activities like NCC,NSS are also available. * As I have passed out, to my knowledge there is a website for students run by students but I don't have a sound knowledge in that.

Campus Life:

Kurukshetra, Cistheta, and many more events are conducted. and clubs conduct various technical events in a month. A lot of books are available in the library for your reference. The classroom ambiance is good. Projectors and all other technical tools are used to demonstrate the concepts to students. SPORTS FACILITIES are good. Several coding clubs and sports clubs are available.

Campus Life:

There will be a cultural fest which is one of the famous events occurring in the college. The whole year we will be waiting for this fest which will happen for 3 days in the Feb month. Coming to the Library they have mostly all books and journals which we want and need if suppose they didn't have them we can ask them to provide them which they will provide us in a short time. The classrooms are very neat and clean. Every classroom has a projector in which we can see presentations. Sports and extracurricular activities are happening on campus. Each sports team has separate clubs.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel fees are 10000 per year. All types of rooms are available like single, double and four in one room. All rooms have sufficient racks. Fans, Lights are well maintained. There will be a mess at every hostel block. Mess fees are around 3000 every month. The mess will be given at the end of every month. The quality of the food and hygiene is very good. The taste is not so nice. Only vegetarian food will be served in the mess. Nonvegetarian food is not available inside the college, you can got outside the campus and have Nonveg food.

Campus Life:

Campus life is really good. There are various clubs like Maths and Drama where you can participate. Being in a club you can participate in an intercollege competition. There is a technical fest and an Annual cultural fest which will happen for 3 days each, even other colleges also participate. There is an indoor gym, shuttle court, Tennis court, Volleyball, and Football ground. A central library is present which has large collections of books on all the core department subjects.

It is one of the few private universities that take admission through JEE Mains score. ACRS: If you want to finish your course in the 7th semester, you will need a GPA of 7.5+. To get the course you want you will need to have around an 8.5 GPA. Although most companies set 7.0 GPA requirements. Most dream companies ask for a GPA of 8+. You won’t be able to go to your graduation ceremony, since SASTRA only invites students with GPAs of 7.5+. Sastra University is one of the most reputed institutes in South India, especially for engineering. In 2020, it was ranked 50 for university and 38 for B.Tech by NIRF. I have a few friends from Sastra University. Here are some of the information regarding the institute that my friends shared. Infrastructure: There are costly research facilities, i.e. ASK1 and ASK2. There are plenty of things that you can explore if you are genuinely interested. For branches like ECE, Mech, Civil, CSE the laboratory facilities provided are excellent. The classrooms have projectors. Sastra offers hostel accommodation for their students. The hostel facilities are decent. There is a post office and ATM near the hostels. The campus has two canteens i.e Canopy and Krishna Canteen, on-campus that offers decent food at affordable prices. There are a few eateries around the campus too. Faculty and Curriculum: The faculty base of the institute is great. The curriculum was renewed recently. It is updated with the industry requirements. Mark System and Scholarships: Sastra follows a GPA system. Having a decent GPA can help you get scholarships and even a chance to sit for placement in reputed companies. If you have a GPA of around 8.5, you can sit for companies like Amazon, Cypress, etc. Although most companies allow students with a 7.5 CGPA to sit for placements. Placement: The placement record of the institute is great. In the 2021 placement drive, the highest CTC offered by the university was 27 LPA. Overall, Sastra University is great. It will offer great infrastructure, decent facilities, and placement at an affordable fee.
