Course Description

LPU MA admission 2023 is open now. Admission to MA at LPU will be done through the LPUNEST entrance examination. The last date to submit the LPUNEST 2023 application form is January 20, 2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online on the official website - admission.lpu.in. Slot booking for the online examination will begin on December 26, 2022. LPUNEST 2023 will be conducted between January 25 and February 7, 2023.

A Master of Arts at LPU is a two-year degree designed to provide students with a broad theoretical foundation for understanding past and future field experiences, as well as to develop abilities for professional employment. LPU MA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for LPU full-time and part-time MA are as follows:

MA (Regular): BA in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
MA (Distance Education): Graduation in the relevant discipline.

LPU MA Admission 2023

The selection process is based on your performance on the qualifying exam. Candidates must have completed BA in the relevant field with valid marks i.e. at least 50% aggregate as instructed by the university.

Step 1: Signup

Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and the password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password.

Step 2: Application for Admission

Fill out the application form.
Select your program from the Available Programme List.
- Deposit initial payment of INR 10,000. After the successful realization of the payment:
  - A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
- Upload the documents.
  - Recent Photograph
  - Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card)
  - Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming a scholarship on the basis of qualifications previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also.
- Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
- All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
- Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.

Step 3: Apply for LPUNEST

LPUNEST is an online entrance test conducted to offer admission to programs you are interested in. Admission to MBA is done based on performance in LPUNEST and Interview.

Deposit the test fee:
The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
Fill out the test application form.

Step 4: Book the exam slot

Book the time slot as per your preferred date, time, and venue to appear in the test.
Download the examination hall ticket.
Appear and qualify for the exam.

Lovely Professional University is pretty good in all aspects such as academics, infrastructure, faculty, ranking, etc. LPU has a brilliant faculty base. Most of the faculty members are alumni of IITs, IIMs, NITs, etc. The institute has a good placement record. LPU placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 42 LPA. Major MNCs like Godrej Consumer, CEAT, Allianz, Hindustan Unilever, etc. visit the campus placement. LPU has a good ecosystem for entrepreneurship as well. If you have a good idea, you can get seed funding from the institute. All basic amenities are available on campus. You won’t need to go out to get anything. The campus has a central library, a shopping mall, indoor sports facilities, public and private sector banks, ATMs, etc. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country. You can benefit a lot from attending the institute.

No, these universities almost have zero credibility. You have to realize the fact that the main goal of these big universities is to make money. I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends who studied at these universities. Following are lesser-known facts about these universities: During the admission, you will be told about the institute and will be assured about top-class facilities including AC in your classrooms. When you get allured in, you will face reality. Your expectations will be barely met. Most of the teaching faculties are newly appointed with most of them having no experience in teaching at all. Most of them will vanish after that semester and again, new faculties are appointed. Attendance criteria is very strict and teachers' way to control students. Even if you are five minutes late to the class, talking in class, or unable to answer a question in class, you are marked absent. There is no particular format for allotting the internal assessment or Semester end exam marks. If teachers are not that fond of you, you are definitely going to have a tough time here. Making students reappear in their exams is a new scheme of making money for these institutes. Whenever the results are out, around 80% of the class is going to fail in one or more papers. To reappear for one paper, you have to pay 5-8K. Fee demand is very high and ROI is very low, due to which the number of students drop out every year. You will be judged in every aspect, based on what you are wearing, that too if you are a girl. You will be sent back to hostels. Overall it's a no-brainer to avoid attending these institutes. Paying so much when you are getting so little in return, makes literally no sense at all. So think twice before opting for any of these institutes.

The management on campus is great. It is one of the safest campuses in North India. Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus. Chandigarh University Placement - CU is conducting its 2022 placement drive. More than 757 recruiters have made around 7500 placement offers. The highest CTC offered this year is 52.11 LPA. But CU has a strict 75% attendance policy. You will need to attend classes regularly, as there is no poxy policy.
