VTU is a collegiate public university in Karnataka. A constituent college, 17 autonomous colleges, 13 quality improvement programs & a total number of 219 affiliated colleges are under its affiliation. The university offers different courses to more than 80,000 students every year. VTU offers these courses with multiple specializations particularly in the fields of Technology and Engineering. VTU has been ranked 92nd in the Overall Category, 95th in the Management Category, 63rd in the University Category & 52nd in the Engineering Category by NIRF 2023. Besides this, VTU has also been approved by AICTE & UGC.
The flagship program of VTU is B.Tech. which is offered with 23 specializations. Admission to the B.Tech course is granted based on scores achieved by the students in the JEE Main/KMAT examination. Besides B.Tech., the university offers various other popular courses such as M.Tech, MBA, and MCA for which VTU has appointed a highly experienced faculty of academic staff members.
VTU provides admissions to the candidates in UG, PG Courses based on different criteria. For UG courses, the candidates are required to qualify for national level entrance examinations such as KMAT whereas, for PG Courses M.Tech and M.Arch, the candidates are required to qualify GATE & PGCET respectively with merit scores. Admission through Karnataka common entrance test every year is conducted by the Karnataka examination authority (KEA). Eligibility is 2nd PUC. Exam conducted in the month of may-june. My college cut off nearly 15000 for all categories.

Read Full Review1st thing we have to attend the KCET is the Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Karnataka examination authority to determine the eligibility for admission of Karnataka candidates The exam will be an offline pen-paper-based test that will be held over 2 days in 4 different sessions for four subjects. All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions after that based on our ranking we get a respective course like engineering mbbs coming to the cutoff we can't predict it's varying yearly KCET is not so difficult We can cark easily reserve benefits we can take by providing required documents to our college and in our verification time also.
