It offers a number of scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. Mainly the Scholarships offered by Jain University are categorised into six different parts namely Medha, Ekalavaya, Natyaswara, Atharva, Dyumna, and Samasti with the objective to encourage extraordinary talent in various fields namely academics, sports, music, dance and literature. In addition to this, the University also admits candidates with significant physical disabilities to all the courses.

  • The scholarship is offered to Indian Nationals and is awarded to students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) only.
  • Scholarships will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Scholarship Committee (JUSC).
  • The committee reserves the right to introduce new scholarships or to cease the award of scholarships at any time.
  • The eligibility criteria for each scholarship and agreement on the number of scholarships to be awarded annually are approved by JUSC. The committee also approves the selection and renewal process.
  • Scholarships within each category will be awarded on the basis of merit (subject to the number of scholarships available in each category for that year) and will not by any means be tested or otherwise influenced by any other award/grant etc. held by the scholarship applicant.

Jain University B.Tech Scholarship

FET JU believes in promoting higher education among deserving and meritorious students. It offers a number of scholarships under various categories. The scholarships are granted to students on the basis of scores secured in CET, COMEDK, Uni-GAUGE, and JEE Main & Advanced. For CBSE / ICSE board students, scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis. Scholarships are disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis, after the scrutiny of the scorecards/ mark sheets and the subsequent approval from the university officials. To be eligible for the Meritorious Scholarship applicants must fulfil all the requirements given below:

  • Must be a citizen of India and residing in the country
  • Students who have secured a minimum of 60% and above in the 12th/2nd PUC/equivalent examination board prescribed as per AICTE and UGC.

FET JU provides various scholarships based on sports, defence or caste. The following are the scholarship categories and their eligibility criteria:

Based on scores availed in JEE-Main, conducted by NTA, B.Tech aspirants applying to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) - Faculty of Engineering and Technology shall be eligible for the grant of the meritorious scholarships.

Jain University M.Tech Scholarship

GATE Scholarship: GATE Qualified students are eligible for Scholarship (50% of the 1st year Tuition fee, 1 seat per branch) and will continue if the candidate scores more than 60% in the 1st year.

How to Apply for Jain University Scholarship?

Scholarship applicants can obtain the Scholarship Application form from the Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Admissions Office.

  • A student may apply for a scholarship in any ONE of the scholarship categories listed.
  • No student may hold more than ONE scholarship.
  • The duly filled scholarship application form should be submitted at the Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Admissions Office.
  • Consideration will be given to applications that meet the eligibility criteria for each scholarship category provided the application is received before the specified deadline.
  • Applications for Academic Achievement Scholarships received after the deadline will not be considered.
  • Applications will be ranked on the basis of merit.

Jain University Scholarship Selection Process

All applications received under academics, sports, literary, music and dance, especially challenged and community service categories will be scrutinized and presented to the University Scholarship Committee.

  • The selected students will receive a Scholarship Offer Letter and a Scholarship Acceptance Form.
  • The students must accept or decline their scholarship within the time-frame indicated on the Scholarship Acceptance Form.
  • Failure to do so will render the scholarship offer invalid and the scholarship will no longer be available.
