When it comes to life at Jain University, you should be aware of the following benefits and drawbacks:

Pros:

• Infrastructure:

It has world-class infrastructure, particularly in terms of sporting facilities. It is the only college in India with a golf course on its campus. The grounds for cricket, football, and hockey are fantastic.

• Hostels:

This is the most exciting part. Real life can be found in the Jain University Hostel. In terms of facilities, it is one of the best in India. Sodexo is in charge of the mess. You can use all the facilities if you live in a hostel. 

• Placements: 

According to the most recent report, the highest and average packages offered during Jain University placements in 2022 were INR 30 LPA and INR 6.92 LPA, respectively.

Cons:

• The pedagogy is the same as at VTU. There isn't much progress.
• It is still in the early stages. As a result, almost everything will be unpredictable, including placements and course structure. It still needs to prove its worth.
• The faculty is below average. With the exception of a few, everyone is so young in teaching. There is no Professor at all, only Associate Professors.
• It is lacking the industry interface.
• There isn't as much of a crowd as one might anticipate from Bangalore.

In conclusion, it is a Mediocre College. One can choose the CS branch if they do not have access to a college and spend their four years there with the goal of receiving a job offer from an IT company in the end.

According to my friends studying there, being situated in Bangalore has its own perks. Listed below are details for the same:

• You will love the climate as it creates a positive environment to learn and develop yourself. 
• Food is also good as this is south so it is likely to get Dosa, Upma, in the breakfast and the famous Coconut Chutney. 
• There’s nothing to worry about. You’ll even find other North Indian foods but the breakfast mostly consists of south staple snacks, people get habituated with the flow and the routine.
• It has a world-class Infrastructure. It also includes a golf course. Filled with lush green fields the university is surrounded by them and provides a study full ambiance. 
• With over six campuses, there is always something new to discover with numerous vibrant fests, societies, seminars, and a fully integrated student community. 
• Library Facility is somewhat up to the mark with more than 1 lakh book collection. You will find many books including Engineering Ethics, values and comics also which can help you in increasing your reading and vocabulary skills

Placements:-

It is considered one of the best in Bangalore in terms of facilities. Mess is managed by Sodexo. One can enjoy all facilities if he/she is living in a hostel such as laundry, Wi-Fi, and garage.
