Jammu University BBA Eligibility Criteria

A prospective student of Jammu University needs to secure at least 50% marks in the 10+2 level to be eligible for this course.
There are no specific requirements about the subject taken at the intermediate level.
SC and ST candidates are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks.

Jammu University BBA Admission Guidelines

Every year, students need to appear and successfully qualify for the JUET examination to secure admission at the university. Jammu University currently admits 35 students every year in its BBA program in Hotel Management.

Entrance Exam

The university conducts the JUET entrance exam as part of its admissions process every year.
The exam is conducted offline through pen and paper.
It is conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes with a total of 150 objective-type questions.
JUET is conducted in English and has four sections.

Jammu University BBA Course Details

The BBA program of Jammu University is focused on Hotel Management.
The course is already very specialized and thus, it does not offer additional electives to the students.
The program is divided into six semesters and can be completed in three years.
The last two semesters of the course allows the students to do internships and get valuable industrial experience.

The minimum duration for the course is 3 years. The course is divided into 6 semesters, with 2 semesters taken per year.

I have a few friends from Jammu University and according to them the process to get transcripts from the university is quite simple. You will need to visit the administration block of Jammu University. Get the form and fill out the details of the degree for which you want transcripts. Attach proof of passing the said degree from Jammu University. It needs to be duly attested by your departmental head. Submit the required fee. Give the details of the agency or the institute where you want to send your transcripts clearly and you are done. Your transcripts should be ready to dispatch within 15 days or so, depending on the pending work.

A few of my friends graduated from the University of Jammu. Here is their advice. Get to know your university area well, your classrooms, your libraries, etc. Dhanvantri library is quite famous. Attend your classes regularly. Jammu University is quite strict about attendance, results, etc. So, make sure you start focusing on your studying from the beginning of your course. The faculties and the staff at the university are quite cooperative. Have proper strategy and timetable from the very beginning, if you want to score well in examinations. These are a few of the things that you should keep in mind.

If you stay on the university campus, you can take membership and permission to access courts and games at the university stadium. Most students prefer to study at the central library of Jammu. You can visit the nearest tourist places like Mansar Surinsar Lakes, Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Shiv Khori in Reasi district, Gharana wetland at RS Pura, etc. If you love movies, there are multiplexes within a 4-5 km radius of the university.
