Remarks :
First you have to give JEE mains exam you can give with 12th or one year after 12th. If you clear cutoff for jee Advanced. Than after 1.5-2 months JEE Advanced is conducted by IITs itself. if you clear JEE advanced with a good rank than in Josaa counselling you can apply for iits and you have to choose courses for which you are applying. There is some benefit for reserved category. The difficulty level of jee advanced is a very good. You have to work hard for this.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The most part Chemical engineering is about physics. It is more related to physics than chemistry. This field is more about to do a process over a large scale. IIT professors improve curriculum according to the industry need and by taking feedbacks from studnets.
Internships Opportunities :
After 2nd yr completion, there is form filling for internship. Internship is organised by institute itself. There are 676 offfers made to 652 students. There are a lot of companies that visits IIT Kgp include google, microsoft, uber, Flipkart, Bain and company and list goes.... There are test conducted by companies then they release shortlist and after that you have interview round to get internship.
Placement Experience :
The placements from IIT KGP is very good. This palcements are conduct by Institute it self and There is a proper structured way that is followed. Google, microsoft flipcart and many tech, core and other variety of company visit iit kgp. Some students go for startups, higher studies and many more.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In Indian Institute of technology kharagpur the entire fees is about 3 lakh per year. and it increase a little in every next year. There is fee weiver according to your family income. You can submit verified family income certificate before paying the fees. If your income is less than 1 lakh than you no need to pay Tution fee which is about 2 lakhs per year. If your family incoem is lies between 1 to 5 lakh than you need to pay only 33% of the tution fees than you have pay near to 1.6 lakhs per year. The students come from SC ST category there is no tution fee they have to pay onyl hostel fees which is near to 40k per semester. there are many scholarships for that you can apply. One of the popular scolarships in iit kgp is MCM scholarships. And there are mony more scholarships to helps studnets financialy.
Campus Life :
There are multiple Fest cultural, tech, sports, space related and many more variety of field. Spring Fest Annual social and cultural fest, Kshitij Techno-Management Fest, NSSC biggest Astro-Tech fest, Shaurya Sports fest, Other than these there are many other Popular one is Inter IIT. There are many more. Central Library of IIT Kgp is one of the largest and finest techanical library in asia. Facilities and technological provisions withhin class room are great, there is no point of doubt. There are alot of societies and club in variety of filds, nothing is remain. You can explore anything by joining these societies, The exposure is Fabulous.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel provide you one table, one chair, fan almira and good quality room. Washing mechine fully Automatic and semi Automatics both depend on your hostel. RO filtered water, and good quality washroooms. The food of mess is good. You get veg and non-veg both type of food. Registeration to hostel is not tough you have to submit a basic form that given in hostel itself and write basic details and they give you room. Allotment of hostel is done by ERP system. You have to see your hall in college website and go there and get the room. Around college there is very less chance to get PG. But there is no need to think for that. Hostels are good.
Faculty :
Faculty members are awesome. They will help you if you have any doubts or queries. There connections are great.And The ratio of faculty member to student is good enough. In each class there is near to 100 students and 1-3 faculty based on the subject or labs and 2-3 TAs help you in your learning.

Campus placement is offered by my college and companies come to my college from all over the world. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most common and frequent companies are Schlumberger, reliance,tata etc they offer placement to 20-30 students every year.highest package offered was of 2.3crs and college average package lies between 15-20 lakh. around 80 percent students get placed every year. My plan after the completion of my BTech degree is to go for further studies by clearing CAT exam and applying for manegement course in IIM's and then getting placed in foreign or to get a reputed government job in India.

Highest package in our college is 40 lakhs in Amazon and off campus placement package is around 60 lakhs.averge package in our college is 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed is 70-80 percent. my plans after getting the degree is metch from iit or nit.

The highest package offered is 11.14 lakh and the lowest package is 3 lakh.30 to 40 percent of students are placed on campus and according to your skills, you can get placement throughout campus currently I am in 3rd sem my current plan is to study ac to the course and from this year mainly I have to focus on extra skills.ZNS, Geo tech Info Services Private Limited, WNS, Pinnacle, and many more companies are there.

The place here is good enough i would not say every one gets it but every one can get it and by that i mean if u have the talent u can have the job for yourself be it amazon microsoft or any maang companies.u would never feel like i am not elegible for this or for that every one has equal opportunities this year my senior secured an internship at Microsoft for 1.25 lacs per month.
