I got the admission through wbjee entrance eam in which i scored around 18000 rank though i could have gotten some other college but i chose this one i personally wish i would have chosen a different one or would have upgraded it but when i was choosing this college i was really impress bu the placement in which in my brach 91 out of 120 students were places .
The current curriculum is really up to the industry standards here , since it is a autonomous institute (affiliated to M.A.K.A.U.T or W.B.U.T) it has its own curriculum ,Personally i like this curriculum it helped me to under computer early in my first year . Helped me to gain interest over my field.
I personally havent gotten any internship yet but my senior had a chance to get an internship at Microsoft as a SWE for 1.25 lacs per month which for my opinion is really great not only that majority of the senior I know are really good at what they do and are doing internship in various companies.
The place here is good enough i would not say every one gets it but every one can get it and by that i mean if u have the talent u can have the job for yourself be it amazon microsoft or any maang companies.u would never feel like i am not elegible for this or for that every one has equal opportunities this year my senior secured an internship at Microsoft for 1.25 lacs per month.
the tution fees is totally controlled by the WBJEE board for example when got enrolled in this college the projected feese was 5.5lac for 4 years i.e 8 semisters. but as per the notification released but the wbjee authority the colleges were allowed to raise the current fees to a certain level which in our case was 6 lacs.
There are two major fest in the college Kritanj (Tech fest)helds in june and Navodaya around june july (cultural Fest) The range of books available in the library is good everything is available over here classrooms are equipped with smart boards for the ease of learning. There is a football ground ,cricket net ,and vollyball court i personally wished there was a badminton court too . there social groups are negligible no one is interested in that i have never seen a group in our college
The faculty here are like 50-50 some of them are really helpful as well as knowledgable but some of them are really othodox in the way they teach. Though every faculty here is brilliant no up to the mark as IIT and NITs but hey come on u are paying way-way less than what other Tier 2 colleges charge .As i stated earlier some of the faculty here is really othodox which makes it difficult for students of this era to approach them, but majority of they will make u really comfortable
Many MNCs and reputable companies provide jobs on our college campusing few students even got 12-16 LPA jobs on campus from our college if you can prepare well with the help of facultys than I assure you ,you can get a job on campus
Rating a college course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness involves evaluating several key Relevanc Alignment with Industry Standards: the courses updated regularly to reflect changes in the field
About my course , yea it is good , there are some subjects, like iks , Indian constitution, values and ethics, I don't think so this are really needed , but some subjects like computer practicals are damn. good , and interesting
While campus placements are one option, students also have alternative routes to employment after completing their course. Colleges negotiate with companies for placement dates, packages, and times. The placement process typically includes pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and HR interviews. If campus placements aren't offered, or if a student isn't selected, they can explore other avenues like off-campus placements, internships, freelancing, recruitment agencies, government jobs, MOOCs, or further studies.
The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect current industry trends and technologies. This ensures that what we learn is directly applicable to the real world, making us better prepared for the job market. The curriculum covers a broad range of topics, providing a solid foundation in the early semesters and allowing for specialization in later years. It balances theory with practical learning through projects, labs, and assignments, giving a well-rounded education. Overall, the curriculum is both relevant and comprehensive, effectively preparing students for their future careers.
Heritage has decent placement. Nearly 100 percent students got placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Infosys are came every year. And microsoft and Amazon came sometime for pool campasing.
After 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement.in this college TCS, INFOSYS, ACC, COUGLIGENT etc.highest package in my course is about 10lac on campus and average package is 5 lac per annum
As I'm from civil engineering department and aiming for government job this college is good as per my knowledge with the low fee structure and as a matter for course curriculum this college is a auto autonomous which allows the college to modify the course structure by its own which helps the students to score good marks in the exams.
From 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Cognizant, IBM, TCS and various companies for the core deptertment visited. According to 2022 placement history above 85% students from my stream got placements. but after 2022 we don't have any information about placements. the college doesn't release anything about placements. It should be the rate of placements is decreasing day by day. It's a very negative sign for us.
