NID Admission form 2016 National Institute of Design announced the admission details for the B.Des. and M.Des. programme for the academic session 2016-17.

NID Campuses and the Courses Provided by Them

1. NID Ahmedabad: It offers UG courses in the following courses:

Ceramic and Glass Design, Animation Film Design, Film and Video Communication, Graphic Design, Product Design, Furniture and Interior Design and Textile Design.

2. NID Gandhinagar: It offers PG design courses in following courses:

Lifestyle Accessory Design, Apparel Design, Photography Design, New Media Design, Strategic Design Management, Transportation, Toy and Game Design and Automobile Design

3. NID Bengaluru: It offers PG design courses in following courses:

Design for retail experience, Information Design and Interaction Design

Candidates willing to take admission in NID have to give NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT). Details for the test have been given below.

NID 2016 Exam Dates

• Des. Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be on January 11, 2016
• Des. Design Aptitude Test will be on January 10, 2016

Prospectus: The NID 2016 Prospectus will be available for the candidates to download from the first week of October 2015.  Candidate can download the prospectus and read the information for the admission in NID.

Candidate applying for NID has to download the application form from the NID admission website link. Then he has to fill all the details. Then send it to the NID with the documents and the fees demand draft enclosed in envelop at the following address.

The application fee for applying at the NID is Rs. 1500/- for the general Category students and Rs. 750 for the students of reserved categories.
