Candidates are requested to carry their valid ID proof along with a photocopy of it on the exam day. A photograph, the same as the one on the admit card must also be carried by the student for safety.
The documents specified below are to be carried out during the Design Aptitude Test.

- Candidate’s Identity card like Driver’s License, Pan Card, Aadhaar Card, etc.
- Two passport-size photographs of the candidate in case the photograph on the admit card is not clearly visible.

The candidates are allowed to choose and disclose NID DAT 2023 exam centre of their own option in NID DAT 2023 application form. But the NID alone will make the exam centre allocation for the NID DAT 2023 examination. The examination cell has the right to include or remove any of the examination centres and allocate a test centre that is not selected by the candidate during registration.
The request or any other application for modifying the test centre will not be encouraged by the NID. The overseas candidates can attend the Design Aptitude Test, Studio Test and Interview in Ahmedabad only.

NID DAT 2023 Exam Day Important Guidelines
- The admit card will be available only on the official website of NID admissions.nid.edu. It is the candidates’ liability to download and print the relevant hall ticket.
- The NID admit card will not be mailed to anyone. The candidate has to download it from their own account before the commencement of the examination.
- The admit card for NID DAT 2023 will be provided only to the applicants who finished their application correctly and met the eligibility criteria recommended for appearing in NID DAT 2023 exam.
- The candidates applying for NID examination have to register by providing information like email ID, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, etc.
- The candidate then logs in to their respective accounts by using their registered email ID and Date of Birth.
- The candidate should check whether he/she fills in all the required details.
- The scanned legitimate signature and photograph are uploaded based on the instructions.
- The SC/ST group candidates should upload their original caste certificate and the persons with disability category should upload the disability certificates in the specified format.
- Finally, the payment should be made and the printout of the completed application form should be taken for future reference.
