NTA has started a Text Helpline for all aspirants appearing for JEE Main, NEET, and other Entrance Exams being held by the NTA due to rising concern over the coronavirus. Several students aspiring for different exams conducted by NTA including JEE Main, NEET, UGC NET and others have been trying to contact the pinnacle agency for testing to get clarified about the status of the exam and their chances of further postponement. But, as per the bulletin published by the agency, the National Testing Agency has been working with a handful of resources and therefore has been unable to resolve to all the queries of the aspirants. However, as a positive step, the agency has now opened Texts Message Helpline, through which aspirants can contact and get clarifications about the examinations.

To readdress the maximum number of queries of the students related to delayed examinations due to spread of COVID 19, NTA has come up with helpline numbers to help aspirants with the same.NTA has asked candidates to contact the authorities through text messages or SMS services. The authority is working steadily with its resources to timely handle all the queries put forward by the students. Hence candidates can contact the exam authorities via below-mentioned numbers through text and get it resolved. Although the contact numbers are interim and available for a short duration, the candidates can directly text and avail the help with queries related to the examination.

NTA Postpones Major Exams

NTA Exams Postponed due to COVID-19

Due to soaring figures of Coronavirus infections in the country, the NTA has decided to delay exams which were stipulated to be held in March 2020 to a forthcoming date. According to the update available currently, all the major entrance exams including JEE Main 2020 April session, NEET UG  2020 and UGC NET 2020 have been postponed by the paramount testing agency as part of preventive measures to tackle the spread of COVID-19 and ensure health and safety of the people. JEE Main coming session is now scheduled for July 18 – 23, 2020. NEET 2020 shall be conducted on July 26, 2020. With exams postponed, candidates with doubts can contact the above-mentioned helpline numbers. What candidates need to do:

The candidates are now required to be well updated and take the necessary steps to remain well informed with the exam process. The queries related to the exams must be directly readdressed using the above-mentioned helpline numbers.

  • NTA has made it clear in its official notifications that all exams that were supposed to be carried out in the month of March and April will remain postponed. 

  • The candidates must also make sure that they continue their preparations and take advantage of the extra time they have been given. 

  • The candidates must also keep all the precautions and stay safe from the spread of COVID-19 disease.
