Need Counselling

Currently, the entire world is facing a very crucial time as we are under the crisis of COVID-19 outbreak, and most importantly, researchers are yet to discover or invent any cure/vaccine which can relieve us all from this highly worrying concern. Amidst this period, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has taken much-needed step to postpone the coming session of JEE Main 2020 to July. JEE Main 2020 April session will be conducted from July 18 – 23, 2020.

Regarding JEE Main Admit Card which was previously scheduled to be released on March 20, 2020, it will now be issued 15 days prior to the conduct of the exam, on the official website of JEE Main. The Ministry has advised the candidates and their parents to be frequently updated with the information and notification of the JEE Main 2020 examination at the official websites – jeemain.nta.nic.in or www.nta.nic.in. Also, the candidates will be provided with the latest information and notification regarding JEE Main on their registered phone number as well as in their registered e-mail id. For any further information, the candidates can call at 0120-6895200.

According to the previous schedule, JEE Main was to be held on April 5,7,8,9,11, 2020. But on March 18, 2020 MHRD announced the cancellation of the scheduled program due to the CORONA outbreak in the country. JEE Main coming session has finally being scheduled on July 18 – 23, 2020.

Must Check

This has been a very intelligent step taken by the ministry keeping the safety of the health of both the examiners and the examinees in mind. With the postponing of JEE Main from April to May, there will be an expected postponing in the JEE Advanced 2020 as well. As NTA comes up with a lot of factors to be in mind while planning the schedule for a National Level Exam, there can be a possibility of postponing the following exam of JEE Advanced as well. Also due to this COVID 19, there are a lot of exams that are being postponed; so the authorities also need to keep the fact of overlapping rescheduled exam dates in mind.
