JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Analysis Jan 28 Shift 2

Students found JEE Main 2023 B.Arch paper lengthy. This year the number of drawing questions in JEE Main 2023 B.Arch paper was only 2 with no choices. Usually, there is a choice for each of the two drawing questions asked in the exam. 

  • Questions in Aptitude were based on topics such as Paper Folding (2 questions), Orthographic Projection, Mirror Image (3 questions), Series Completion (4 questions).
  • There was also a question on Petronas Tower or Twin Towers in Malaysia.
  • Questions in mathematics were based on topics such as Series, Determinants, 3D, Limits, Circle, and Hyperbola.   

JEE Main 2023 exam was conducted online as a computer-based test while the drawing test in JEE paper 2 is conducted in pen-paper mode. Candidates are given 3 hours to attempt 77 out of 82 questions. JEE Main 2023 Question Paper is released in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

JEE Main Question Paper is based on MCQs and Numerical Type Questions. There are three sections in the paper which include Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing Test.

A total of 30 questions are asked in each section of the paper carrying a total weightage of 300 marks (each question carrying 4 marks). There is also a negative marking of 1 marks for each incorrect answer.

What After JEE Main 2023 January Session?

NTA is going to release JEE Main 2023 Answer Key PDF on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. First provisional answer key will be released which will be open for challenges, if any with a payment of INR 500 per objection. Once all the objections raised have been scrutinized, NTA is going to release the final JEE Main 2023 Answer Key expected in the first week of January 2023.

NTA is going to use these final answer key to calculate JEE Main Result 2023. Candidates aiming for admission to top architecture colleges must score 200+ marks. Candidates aiming for admission to IITs, must score 90%ile and above to be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2023 Registration April Session to Begin from February 7

NTA is going to begin JEE Main 2023 April Session Registrations from February 7. Both fresh and Session 1 candidate can fill the application form for JEE Main 2023 April Session. JEE Main 2023 April Session to be conducted on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 2023. Registrations for JEE Main 2023 April Session will remain open till March 7, 2023 (11:50 PM).
