NTA conducted JEE Main 2023 Jan 24 Shift 2 from 3 PM to 6 PM. JEE Main 2023 Paper Analysis Jan 24 Shift 2 is available for B.E./B.Tech paper.  The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. According to an expert, JEE Main Jan 24 Shift 2 questions were easier and less time-consuming as compared to Shift 1 questions.

Physics Topics with Highest Weightage Equal weightage was given to almost all important sections in the physics syllabus. Questions were asked from important chapters such as Wave Optics, Modern Physics, Electrostatics, EM Waves, Work, Power & Energy, Magnetism, Kinematics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, and Heat & Thermodynamics.
Chemistry Topics with Highest Weightage Organic Chemistry was given higher weightage with questions from Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, and General Organic Chemistry. Physical chemistry questions were asked in the numerical section from chapters such as Chemical Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium, and Atomic Structure. Inorganic chemistry has the least weightage but was the trickiest part of the section.
Mathematics Topics with Highest Weightage Higher weightage was given to the algebra section which included questions from Permutation & Combination, Complex Numbers, Matrices & Determinants, Statistics, Vectors, Progression & Series, and 3D Geometry. The numerical section included questions from Calculus that were time-consuming and lengthy.

JEE Main Question Paper Pattern

JEE Main Question Paper is based on MCQs and Numerical Type Questions. There are three sections in the paper which include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

A total of 30 questions are asked in each section of the paper carrying a total weightage of 300 marks (each question carrying 4 marks). There is also a negative marking of 1 marks for each incorrect answer.

What After JEE Main 2023 January Session?

After the conclusion of JEE Main 2023 January Session, NTA is going to release JEE Main 2023 Answer Key PDF on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. First provisional answer key will be released which will be open for challenges, if any. Once all the objections raised have been scrutinized, NTA is going to release the final JEE Main 2023 Answer Key.

These final answer key will be used to calculate JEE Main Result 2023. Candidates aiming for admission to NITs, must score 200+ marks. Candidats aiming for admission to IITs, must score 90%ile and above to be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2023 Registration April Session to Begin from February 7

NTA is going to begin JEE Main 2023 Registration April Session on February 7. Both fresh and Session 1 candidate can apply for JEE Main 2023 April Session. The exam is going to be conducted on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 2023. Candidates will be able to register for JEE Main 2023 April Session till March 7, 2023 (11:50 PM).
