JEE Main September 2, 2021 Afternoon Question Paper was termed as being moderately difficult by the experts. The paper was held for admissions into B. Arch and B.Planning Courses and no paper for B.E/B.Tech admissions were held on September 2, 2021. Candidates were required to attempt 77 Questions out of 82 Questions in B.Arch Paper, and 100 out of 105 Questions in B.Planning paper. B.Arch and B. Planning papers had Mathematics and Aptitude sections as common, and only the third section of the respective papers varied. The third section of JEE Main B.Arch Exam Pattern was the Drawing test, consisting of 2 Drawing Questions. JEE Main 2021 B.Arch/B.Planning Question Paper September 2 (AN): Difficulty Level

JEE Main September 2, 2021 Afternoon (Shift 1) paper was conducted from 3.00 PM till 6.00 PM for Paper 2A (B.Arch)  and 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM till 6.30 PM for Paper 2B (B.Planning). A brief analysis of the difficulty level is as follows.

B.Arch

  • The difficulty level of the B.Arch paper was moderate.
  • The Mathematics section was moderate and featured a majority of questions from 3D Geometry, Quadratic Equation, Coordinate Geometry, and Integral Calculus.
  • The Aptitude Section of the paper was easy in terms of difficulty with significant questions devoted to Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
  • For Drawing Section only 2 Questions were provided to the candidate and both were mandatory to be attempted by the candidate. Check JEE Main B.Arch Syllabus

B.Planning

  • The overall paper for B.Planning too was rated to be of moderate difficulty
  • The Mathematics section was common to both papers.
  • The Aptitude section was also common to both the papers
  • For the third section (Planning Section) questions asked were diverse. The questions included Indian Arts and Culture, Planning Bodies of Government (NITI Ayong, Election Commission), Few tricky Logical reasoning Questions’, etc.
