Coming from a middle class financial background, Rongala sees Mr. Sundar Pichai as his ideal. He has completed his schooling from the Telangana state board. What made him go for JEE Main 2020?

His interest in engineering made him go for the exam, he would like to go for Computer Science Engineering. He would want to pursue AI later.

When did he start his preparation for JEE Main 2020?

He shared that he has been preparing for JEE Main for 2 years. He used to prepare keeping JEE Advanced as his priority. During the last days before JEE Main, he focused on just the syllabus for the mains. He shares that he used to study 13 hours per day.

Did he take any coaching class for JEE Main Preparation?

He shared that he took coaching from Sri Chaitanya IIT academy, Madhapur. He adds that taking coaching classes proved to be really beneficial for him as the campus provided him with study material. The mentors were helpful during doubt clarification. Also, getting enrolled in a coaching class helped him maintain regularity in his studies.

Were previous year papers and mock tests useful in terms of his preparation for the exam?

He believes that JEE Main Sample papers and mock tests were highly useful for him as they helped him cope with getting used to the difficulty level of the exam. He also got an idea regarding the framing of questions and required paper tricks etc.It gave his preparation a direction.

Suggestion for important books for the preparation of JEE Main?

He shares that he didn’t have any particular book that he followed constantly except NCERT. Besides that, the coaching material was enough for him to prepare from.

Any exam day strategies that he would like to share?

As per Rongala, he was quite stressed before the commencement of the examination. But he found the paper easy in terms of difficulty level, and therefore he could balance the two aspects i.e. time management and accuracy. He suggests that future aspirants should work on time management and a high concentration level while taking the paper.

 Rongala Arun Siddardha will be taking the exam again in the april session. JEE Main 2020 April session registration will begin from February 7, 2020.
