JEE Main 2019 B.E./B.Tech 2019 was conducted by NTA on 10 January 2019 in the Forenoon Session. Students were provided 180 minutes to solve a total of 90 questions related to Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each section holds 30 questions, each section carries 120 marks. The exam pattern and overall difficulty level was nearly the same as the previous slots. The Physics section emerged as the most difficult section in the paper, while Mathematics and Chemistry maintained moderate and easy level questions respectively.

A student would gain 4 marks on attempting a correct attempt, while 1 mark would be deducted for every incorrect attempt. The cutoff for the same could go upto 75-80.
