JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 was held on April 9, between 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The question paper was a combination of 90 questions that were distributed across three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject carried a total of 30 questions. The question paper pattern of April 9 slot 1 was very much similar to April 8 both the slots.

• The Physics section was considered the most lengthy section of the paper. The Mechanics section in the Physics section was carrying 48 marks out of 120
• The number of Trigonometry questions were 2 which was same for slot 1 and 2 of April 8
• The difficulty level of the Chemistry section falls between easy to moderate. The Physical Chemistry section was accountable for 30% of the total in the Chemistry section. Nearly 40% weightage was carried by the Organic Chemistry
