JEE Main 2019 April 9 Afternoon session was successfully between 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The candidates rated the overall difficulty level to be of moderate level. The question paper pattern of April 9 Afternoon session was followed by the previously held slots. The Chemistry section remains as a factor of surprise for the students. The Chemistry section was comparatively tougher than the previously held slots. A total of 30 questions were carried by each section (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).

JEE Main 2019 April session Afternoon slot was relatively easy as compared to the January sessions.

Students were supposed to be awarded with 4 marks for every correct answer. As per the determined negative marking scheme, 1 marks would be reduced for every incorrect answer.
