AIEEE 2006 Question Paper with answer key is available for download. The examination consisted of 150 questions in total. Before the replacement of AIEEE with JEE Main in 2013, AIEEE scores were mandatory to get admission to any engineering college in India. AIEEE 2006 Paper Analysis

AIEEE 2006 paper consisted of 40 questions in mathematics and 55 questions each in Physics and Chemistry sections. A total of 150 questions were to be solved in 180 minutes. The difficulty level of the paper was lower than that of previous papers. Total marks in the paper were 540 and a candidate with scores more than 200-220 could expect a national rank. The paper contained some standard questions which were easier to answer while some were extremely tricky and time-consuming.

Candidates found chemistry to be the toughest section. Some questions were difficult and took a long time to be solved. Physics contained some straightforward questions that made it easier to score in the subject.
