CAT 2021 Result on January 3, 2022, for the exam conducted on Nov 28, 2021. To get into the top IIMs, candidates need to score 99+ percentile. Since CAT is a highly competitive exam with around 1.91 lakh test-takers for CAT 2021, hence it becomes extremely important to be aware of the top MBA colleges other than IIMs accepting CAT scores.

Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi

Established in 1993, the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi is also known as DMS admits candidates for the MBA program based on the CAT Scores.

Admission Process- Candidates applying to IIT Delhi MBA programs have to qualify CAT exam. Then, they will be shortlisted and invited for the online PI round. CAT 2021 Selection Process will begin in the second week of March 2022. Follow the schedule given below for more details:

• Eligibility- Candidate must have a graduate degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA on a scale point of 10. Those who belong to the reserved category are given a relaxation of 5% marks.
• Cut Off- Getting a percentile above 98 will give you a high chance to get you through to the next admission process.
• Placements- In 2019-21, the highest domestic salary offered to the candidates was 33.8 LPA, and the average salary was 18.5 LPA.

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi

FMS, Delhi is listed at the top when it comes to colleges accepting CAT 2021Scores other than IIMs and in terms of ROI (Return on Investment). Admission to the MBA Program is made based on CAT scores. Shortlisting criteria for students is similar to that of IIMs. From now, candidates need high sectional scores to get shortlisted for PI rounds at FMS Delhi. 

• Eligibility- The eligibility set by FMS, Delhi for MBA aspirants is that he/she must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 50% aggregate. Relaxation of 5% is provided to reserved category candidates. 
• Cut Off- Candidates have to score a percentile around 99 to be eligible for admission to this institute.
• Placements- FMS has excellent placement records. For the batch of 2020-21, the average package was around 21 LPA. The highest international package was 1.02 crore per annum, and the highest domestic package was 66 LPA.

Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, also known as DoMS, is a business school under the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Chennai.

• Eligibility- Candidates must have a graduate degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Those who belong to the reserved category are given a relaxation of 5% marks.
• Cut Off- According to the officials CAT cut off for DMS IIT Madras is 98.2 percentile and if a candidate can get around this then he/she have higher chances to get a call for PI (Personal Interview) and GD (Group Discussion)
• Placements- According to the placement report of DMS IIT Madras for the academic year 2020, the highest package was 22.15 LPA and the average package was 12 LPA.

S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research is a private business school that is affiliated with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

• Eligibility- Those who wish to take admission to the PGDM program in SPJIMR must have completed their bachelor’s degree in the relevant program with minimum 50% marks. Work experience is not mandatory. However, it may act as an added advantage, if acquired. 
• Cut off- CAT 2021 Cut Off for admission to SPJIMR, Mumbai is 85 percentile.
• Placements- As per the placement reports of SPJIMR, the average CTC offered to the candidates is 20.9 LPA in the latest placement session.

Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, SOM, IIT Bombay

Shailesh J Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay is a public business school that was established in 1995 and is a part of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

Admission Process- Admission to the management program in the institute is carried out in two phases. Clearing CAT 2021 and securing minimum section-wise and aggregate percentile. After that, they will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview round.

• Eligibility- Candidate must have a graduate degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10. Reserved category candidates are given a relaxation of 5% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a scale of 10.
• Cut Off- As per admission criteria 2022-24, the minimum cut off for shortlisting candidates is 90 percentile for general category candidates, 81%ile for NC-OBC, and 60%ile for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
• Placements- In the previous placement session, the maximum domestic package was 29.9 LPA and the average package offered was 17.63 LPA.

Management Development Institute, Gurgaon was established in 1973 by the Industrial Finance Corporation of India and is located in Gurgaon.

• Eligibility- Candidates must have a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
• Cut Off- CAT 2021 Cut off for MDI Gurgaon is expected to be between 93 to 96 percentile. 
• Placements- As per the placement reports of MDI Gurgaon, the highest CTC offered to a candidate was 28.74 LPA in PGPM program and an average CTC for the same program was 19.25 LPA.

• Admission Process- Admission to India’s one of the best Management schools is made based on CAT/XAT scores. Candidates clearing the cut off will be called for further interview and Group Discussion rounds
• Eligibility - Aspirant must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any discipline. 
• Cut Off - IMT cut off for CAT is around 93 Percentile and for XAT is around 90 Percentile.

TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal

T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) is a private autonomous business school in India. It was established in 1980 and is located in the university town of Manipal in Karnataka. National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), formerly National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering, is an institute located in Powai near Vihar Lake in Mumbai, India. Below are some key points to know about the institute.

• Eligibility- Candidates with at least 60% marks in any relevant discipline will be eligible for admissions. A relaxation of 5% marks will be given to reserved category candidates.
• Cut Off- CAT cut off for the institute is expected to be above 90 percentile.

XIMB is a business school located in Odisha established in 1987. The institute offers MBA in different streams. 

• Admission Process- The selection is made based on the scores in exams XAT/CAT/GMAT and it includes Written Ability Test and Personal Interview (which factors in the past academic record and relevant work experience).
