CAT Form Correction 2022: How to Edit CAT Application Form?

Candidates can follow these steps mentioned below to utilize the facility of CAT Form Correction. 

How to Edit CAT Application Form?

• Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT 2022- iimcat.ac.in.

• Step 2: Enter the login credentials i.e. User ID and password.

• Step 3: Now, you can see your CAT Application Form.
• Step 4: You can edit and re-upload your images of photo and sign and change the test city preference.

• Step 5: Click on I agree in the declaration window and Submit. 
• Step 6: The process to edit CAT form is now complete. You can also take the printout of their updated application form.

CAT 2022 Application Form Correction: Details you can Edit

During CAT application correction window 2022, you will be given the opportunity to edit or modify only three details in CAT Application form. Mentioned below are the details that you can edit during CAT form correction facility provided by IIM Bangalore:

CAT 2022 Form Correction: Re-upload Photo and Signature

You have to upload the photograph and signature as per the guidelines issued by IIM in the registration notice. You must go through the CAT photo size guidelines before re-uploading these documents during CAT application edit window.

CAT 2022 Form Correction: Dos and Don’ts for Re-uploading Photo and Signature

You must keep in mind the below-mentioned points while re-uploading the photo and signature during CAT 2022 application form correction window:

• The photograph should be a recent one and not older than 6 months.
• The photograph should have a white or off-white background.
• Make sure you are not wearing cap and sunglasses in the photograph.
• The head, face, and shoulders should be clearly visible in your recent photograph.
• Spectacles are allowed only if being regularly used.
• Polaroid photographs are not acceptable.
• Make sure that you upload the signature done in running hand.
• Do not upload a signature done in capital letters. The same will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Instructions for Scanning CAT Photograph & Signature

You can go through certain technicalities mentioned below for scanning the photographs and signature properly.

• Set your scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
• Set Color to True Color.
• Ensure that the file size is as specified in the instructions.
• Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified).
• The image file should be in JPG or JPEG format. An example of the file name is: img1.jpg or img2.jpeg. You can check the Image dimensions by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon.
• If you are using MS Windows/MS Office, you can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 80 KB by using either MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager.
• Scanned images of photograph and signature of any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu. The size can be reduced below 80KB by utilizing the crop and then resize option available.

What After CAT Application Form Correction Window 2022?

After the closure of CAT 2022 Application Form Correction window, IIM will release CAT Admit Card on Oct 27, 2022. Only those candidates who have correctly filled in their CAT 2022 application form will be able to download CAT Admit Card 2022 at iimcat.ac.in. The admit card will contain the details of your allotted CAT test center and google map link. Candidates must make sure to utilize CAT form correction facility (if needed) as no changes are entertained after the release of the hall ticket.
