IIM Trichy CAT 2022 Cut off and admission criteria has been released online for admission to the batch of 2023-25. IIM Trichy is participating in the IIM CAP 2023 which is being coordinated by IIM Udaipur this year.

For the GN category candidates, the overall and sectional CAT 2022 Cut off is 92 and 70 percentile respectively. IIM Trichy CAT Cut off 2022 is 70 for EWS, 74 for NC-OBC, 54 for SC, and 40 for ST and PwD candidates. After the conclusion of the PI round, the final merit list will be prepared based on the weightage assigned to parameters. The weightage assigned to the selection parameters is 50% to CAT 2022 score, 25% to PI, 5% to Work Experience, 5% to UG scores, 3% each to CAT VARC and class 12 scores, and 2% to class 10 & professional courses, and 5% to Gender Diversity. IIM Trichy Selection Process through CAT

IIM Tiruchirappalli follows a 3-stage Admission process to grant admission into its PGP courses. Enlisted below are the three stages with details.

Stage 1: Securing Minimum marks in CAT

The candidates who meet the qualifying cut off and eligibility criteria of the programmes offered by IIM Trichy are shortlisted for CAP. Shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview (PI) is done from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score.

Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates have to attend CAP

All candidates who have been shortlisted in Stage 1 are required to attend the Common Admission Process (CAP) for the participating IIMs. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum performance in PI will not be considered for final selection. 

Stage 3: Final Selection of Candidates

After the PI rounds, IIM Trichy offers admission to successful candidates on the basis of composite score of the candidates. This includes performance in CAT, performance in PI, academics, work experience, diversity among others. Category wise merit list is generated based on weightages awarded to various components.
