Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur offers admission to its Post Graduate Program (PGP) programme on the basis of CAT exam. Candidates qualifying the minimum CAT Cutoff i.e. 90 percentile, will be called for WAT (Written Ability Test) and PI (Personal Interview). CAT 2019 will be held on November 24 through online (computer based) mode.

While 60% weightage is given to CAT Result, 30% weightage is given to the personal interviews and 10% to WAT. For foreign nationals, GMAT Score (minimum score of 670) is also accepted. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in CAT, selection rounds, academic record and relevant work experience.

NOTE: IIM Kashipur Admission Committee will decide the number of candidates who would be called for WAT & PI process on the basis of criteria prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates were found to be less (more) than the required number of candidates to be called for WAT & PI category-wise, then the overall, as well as section-wise minimum score, would be reduced (increased) to get the desired number of candidates.
