Note: Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Entrance Test will be conducted for conditionally shortlisted candidates. 

LMTSM offers a 2 year MBA program in various specializations such as Marketing and Business Consulting, Finance, Information Systems, etc. For the MBA program, candidates should have the following: 

• A valid CAT / XAT / MAT / GMAT / NMAT / Thapar entrance exam score to be eligible for admission 
• A Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or CGPA or grade secured from a recognized university
• Group Interaction, Personal Interview, and Scholarship Test will be held in New Delhi 
• Scholarship Test will be held in New Delhi & Thapar Entrance Test in Dera Bassi Campus

MBA Application Process

1. Candidates need to apply online for MBA admission. The online application form is available at www.lmtsm.thapar.edu
2. Upload all the required documents carefully 
3. Fill the complete details and you will get a ‘‘login id and password’’
4. Candidates must pay INR 1000 and fill in all of their details and submit the documents
5. Make one copy of the completely filled form to be produced at the time of counseling

Scholarships

There are 75 Merit Scholarships available under the “Emerging Leader Scholarships” category. Below is the description of various scholarships

• All applicants are eligible to appear for the scholarship test 
• The test will be organized in the premises of Thapar School of Management and has no fee 
• Scholarship test will be organized on the day of the admission process

Executive MBA Admission 2020

LMTSM offers an Executive MBA program in various specializations such as Corporate and Entrepreneurial Finance, Strategy and International Management, Higher Education Management, etc. This program caters to applicants who have multiple years of organizational experience and for women who are considering a second career after taking a break from their original careers. For the Executive MBA program, candidates should have the following: 

• A bachelor's degree from any government recognized university in India or an equivalent degree from overseas, and;
• A minimum of 6 years of work experience is necessary for you to be eligible to apply for the Executive MBA program. 
• Candidates who show extreme potential will be considered with fewer years of experience

Executive MBA Application Process

Stage 1 - Submitting the Online Application

• Candidates must submit the application on link provided for the official website along with the documents required
• A motivational essay detailing your motivation to apply for the course must also be attached. 

Stage 2 - Application Review

• The candidate’s application will be reviewed by the admission committee 
• Candidate will get intimated about the committee’s decision 5 working days after the submission of their application 

Stage 3 - Personal Interview

• Personal Interview may be done over phone call, skype, or in person 
• Candidate must explicitly demonstrate why they want to enroll in the program, their understanding of what the program has to offer, and what the candidate will add to the program
• There are multiple rounds of interviews including one with the director prior to an offer

Stage 4 - Communication of Decision 

• The decision of the working committee will be conveyed to the applicant in 3 working days 
• Candidates will need to confirm and secure their place through registration

Stage 5 - Accepting the offer and registration

• The candidate will have a couple of business days to make their final decision and register with the program

Fees 

• Fee for the Executive MBA program is INR 5.85 Lakhs
• It can be paid in 6 equal instalments during the period of 18 months 
• There is an optional (2 week) Global Immersion program opportunity (Europe / East Asia) for the students that has no additional fee. Students will have to pay for all of the expenses of the trip by themselves. 

Scholarships

• Scholarships are offered to 30 extraordinary candidates 
• Scholarship award is decided on the basis of the candidate’s academic qualifications, nature of work experience, personal interview and their ability to add extensive quality to the overall program
• Amount given for the scholarship varies from Rs 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000
