CAT or Common Management Test is widely accepted by top management colleges of India. Apart from Indian B-Schools, there are few colleges abroad that accepts CAT score for offering admission in Master in Management program.

  • The college considers one year-old valid CAT score.
  • CAT 2019 is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2019. The exam will be held across 156 exam cities in India. 
  • IIM Kozhikode is the exam conducting authority for this year. CAT Admit Card is released by the conducting authority on October 23, 2019.
  • CAT 2019 Result will be declared tentatively on January 07, 2020. 
  • Candidates are required to submit their English proficiency test scores as well along with other required documents. 
  • Selected candidates will be called for interview, it could be in-person or via video conference.

Candidates willing to get admission to MIM must go through the admission requirement section on the college’s website. For international applicants, there are specific admission requirements. So, for Indian applicants, it is mandatory to qualify CAT, and any English Proficiency test like IELTS/TOEFL, etc.

ESSEC Business School: Eligibility Criteria

All international applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to get admission to the MIM program.

  • Candidates applying for MIM must hold a Bachelor Degree in Management from a recognized university.
  • All the Indian applicants must qualify CAT exam.
  • ESSEC consider one-year old CAT score valid
  • All international applicants are required to submit their GRE or GMAT scores valid for 5-years.

Like all international applicants’ Indian candidates must submit their IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge/TOEIC test scores to prove their proficiency in the English Language.

ESSEC Business School: Admission Process

The admission process of the MIM program is simple and candidates are advised to check all the eligibility criteria and admission requirements before applying. 

  • All Indian applicants must qualify CAT
  • If you have not qualified CAT, apply for it and give the examination
  • Once you have your CAT scorecard ready, apply for admission to MIM program in ESSEC Business School
  • The admission process starts with a thorough study of all applications received and the selection of the eligible ones. 
  • Then the selected applicants are notified via email.
  • Shortlisted candidates are called for 45 minutes interview round. It could be in-person or via video conference.

  • Attach the following documents along with the application:
    • Updates CV
    • Motivation letter (of maximum 1 page)
    • Copies of official degrees
    • Copies of official transcripts of all colleges and universities
    • Two recommendation letters
    • Copy of official score
    • Copy of passport or national identity card
    • A recent photo
  • All documents must be provided either in English or French
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee EUR100

ESSEC Business School: Admission Fees

Candidates are required to pay tuition fee EUR 40,900 per year including non-refundable deposit worth EUR 6000. ESSEC Business School: Scholarships

ESSEC Business School offers several scholarships, student loans, and apprenticeships to help students pay their fees. Few scholarships for international candidates are:

ESSEC Academic Excellence: It covers up to 40% of the total tuition fee. All international candidates with high quality performance and outstanding GMAT score are eligible for the scholarship. 

Diversity of Geography and Profiles: The scholarship is offered to sustain diversity of student body. Students from all the countries except France are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship covers up to 25% of the total tuition fee. 

EIFFEL Scholarship: The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs funds EIFFEL Scholarship. It is reserved for non-French candidates. Candidates below the age of 30 at the time the selection committee will meet the eligibility requirements for the scholarship. A monthly allowance of €1,181 and covered the costs of one international return journey and social security cover is being offered under the scholarship. The university itself submits the application for EIFFEL scholarship on the candidate’s behalf.
