CAT VARC or Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension is one of the most important and toughest sections of the CAT Examination. • CAT VARC Questions have 5 jumbled sentences to be arranged in the right order. The expected number of Para jumbles questions is 3 to 4.
• VARC section of CAT Exam has a total of 34 questions and the time allotted to this section is 40 minutes. Check CAT VARC Exam Pattern
• CAT VARC Section contains topics such as Contextual Usage, Para jumbles, Sentence Correction, One Word Substitution, etc.
• The marking scheme of CAT VARC section is that each correct answer can fetch you 3 marks. There is a provision of negative marking too. Each incorrect or wrong attempt will lead to a negative marking of -1.

What is CAT VARC Para-Jumbles?

Para- Jumbles is one the most important concepts of CAT VARC Section. There are normally 3 to 4 Para- Jumbles questions in this section. 

Para- Jumbles mean Jumbled Paragraphs. Candidates are given a set of related sentences which are not arranged in an orderly manner in the Para- Jumbles questions. They are required to read each of the sentences and arrange them sequentially.

CAT VARC Questions have 5 jumbled sentences to be arranged in the right order. The weightage of this section is 6 - 12 percentile.
