NITIE (National Institute of Industrial Engineering) Mumbai CAT Cut off for the 2022-24 batch will be released soon as CAT 2021 result has been released on January 3, 2022. NITIE Mumbai has already started inviting applications for Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDSM) programs for the 2022-24 Batch. Candidates willing to apply for NITIE Mumbai admissions 2022 must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The absolute minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in NITIE Mumbai is to have an Engineering/Technology degree in any branch from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks and a valid CAT 2021 score.

How to Apply at NITIE 2022 after CAT 2021?

  • Visit the official website of the college (https://www.nitie.ac.in) and click on ‘Programs’ 
  • Type ‘Admissions’ in the search bar provided in the top-right corner.
  • The various application links for the admissions would be available upon search along with the application acceptance status.
  • Click on the link for PGDIM or PGDSM Admission and fill in the application form with past education details and personal information by January 31, 2022
  • Duly filled forms must be submitted along with the application fee as per your category and course. The application fee is INR 1000 for General category candidates and INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
  • It is to be remembered that only Full-time graduates in engineering/ technology with a Minimum of 60% marks in graduation (55% marks for reserved categories) can apply for admissions.
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply for admissions

NITIE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for NITIE admission to courses such as PGDIM and PGDISEM, which take CAT scores, candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria given below:

  • Candidates should have an Engineering/Technology graduation degree in any branch with aggregate 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST/PD candidates)
  • Final year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria for exams that they have appeared for till the date of application. Students appearing for final year exams in 2022 will be permitted to submit their result by the last week of September 2022. Their admission will stand cancelled in case they fail to meet the qualifying requirements.
  • The candidate must have a valid score of CAT 2021.

Sponsored Seats: Seats are available for Sponsored candidates in PGDISEM. Sponsored candidates must be from reputed industrial organizations/academic institutions. The candidates must have 60% marks aggregate in Engineering/Technology with two years of full-time work experience as on. CAT score is not required for sponsored candidates. However, they are required to attend a written test and personal interview to be conducted at the institute.

NITIE Mumbai CAT Cutoff (Expected)

NITIE Mumbai will grant MBA admission to eligible candidates on the basis of CAT 2021. The official NITIE cutoff for admissions 2021 is not out yet. However, candidates can refer to the NITIE Mumbai CAT cutoff. The cutoff will be on the expected line as of previous years.

NITIE Mumbai CAT 2021 Cutoff: Selection Process

The candidates seeking admission to PGDIM and PGDISEM courses will be granted the final admission after going through the NITIE Mumbai selection process. The phases for the selection process are:

  • Eligible candidates are required to apply online and register themselves for admission 2021
  • Once the NITIE Mumbai CAT cutoff is announced, shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview rounds
  • A final merit list is then released based on the composite score which considers the candidate’s academic records, CAT score, work experience (if any) and performance in the GD and PI

NITIE Mumbai Admissions 2022: Seat Matrix

For both PGDIM and PGDISEM programs, 15 percent of the approved intake (in supernumerary quota) will be reserved for international students. Sponsored seats will be available for candidates in the PDSIEM program. The sponsored candidates must fill the sponsorship form which is available on the NITIE Mumbai official website.
