Birla Global University Selection Process

For getting admission in the MBA/ PGDM program students have to clear any of the entrance exams from CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT. Other than the entrance exam, those who have cleared graduation with 50% marks are also eligible to apply.

Final selection of the student will be done on the basis of scores in the national entrance exam, written test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview

Step by Step Selection process:

Step 1

• At the time of application submission, students have to submit the application fee amount of INR 1150/-
• Fee can be paid through Net Baking, Debit Card/ Credit Card
• Drafts can also be sent in favour of “Birla Global University” payable at Bhubaneshwar

Step 2

• All the eligible students will be informed about their date and venue of the selection process.  
• Tentative venues where students can appear for Group Discussion/ Personal Interview are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Indore, Ranchi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Thiruvanthapuram, Pune, and Greater Noida.

Step 3

Students appearing for the selection process must carry the photo copy of mark sheet of all the last qualifying examination

Step 4

Following are the steps that students must follow while appearing for the selection process:

• To evaluate the students writing ability, they have to write an essay of around 300 words   
• Group Discussion is conducted to evaluate the team spirit, communication, body language etc.
• Personal Interview is conducted to evaluate career objective, extra-curricular activities etc.

Step 5

Students will be selected on the basis of following parameters:

• Career Performance
• Performance in the Selection process
• Performance in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT entrance exams

Step 6

• Admission offer letter will only be issued to the finally selected candidates
• Within the 7 days of receiving offer letter students have to send the confirmation letter to the university
• Those selected for the MBA/ PGDM program are required to submit requisite fee within 15 days of receiving an offer letter

• College Leaving Certificate last attended
• Conduct certificate
• University Registration Number
• 3 passport-size and 2 stamp-size photographs
• UID Aadhar Card
• Migration Certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
