    The syllabus for M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch. and M.Plan. will have a similar structure. The question paper will consist of 3 sections

    • Part I of the question paper will have 20 questions, based on the subject of Engineering Mathematics. This part of the paper would be the same for all 4 courses.
    • Part II of the paper will consist of 35 questions, based on the subject Basic Engineering and Sciences. Just like Part I, part II will also be the same across question papers of all 4 courses.
    • Part III of the question paper will have 60 questions. The questions will be based on the candidate's choice. There are 23 subjects that can be chosen for this section
    • Every correct answer awards 1 mark each, with a negative marking of 1/3 marks for an incorrect answer. The time given would be 2 hours.

    Ans. There is no passing grade. It is determined by the cut-off point. The TANCET cut-off is determined by the following factors: Availability of seats Total number of applicants for TANCET Total number of test participants The exam's level of difficulty. TANCET requires a score of 60-65 to achieve the 99%ile. The TANCET percentile score is calculated using the following formula: Percentile Score on the TANCET: (Y/N)*100 In this case, Y represents the total number of test takers with a lower score. Whereas N denotes the total number of candidates who took the TANCET exam. A candidate who received a 97 percent score performed better than 97 percent of TANCET 2023 test-takers. Read more
